Yes, I agree. It could be a habit in some people. In others I believe it to be demonic in origin.
That would depend on a number of factors.
Only God could possibly know the answer to that.
There is mention that, " even the demons believe", by a tzadik(disciple). Then also there is mention of only fools do not believe their is A Savior in proverbs(_______)
With this sound doctrine there needs to be a place to find wise counsel.
And there is in Yeshua.
He does warn of calling a person a fool, for good reason as far as I am concerned.
Lying in general about things a person does not understand in my opinion comes from pride. I've seen its aggression many times. Usually in persons with both a habitual issue and mental illness issue. The cognizant liars do so to gain power over another. The mentally ill, do so in fear of others realizing they have difficulty with memory. Some even have lesser faculties and have no grasp of there surrounding reality. This sometimes leads to aggression also. But usually only when confronted with the Truth. And it will not matter if the sword is sheathed. Even a gentle touch of the Truth will cause the liar pain. Once during a fellowship meeting I gave a loved one advice on this. You will need to separate pain from anger before healing begins.
Even so,
There are some that will prey upon the gentleness of the sheathed sword and attempt to pervert the Word in order to abuse Sons and Daughters of the Torah Kingdom.
Those are the ones that know personally I am far from timid and will not hesitate to defend Life.
