Jesus stated: John 7:17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

If you understood what Jesus meant by taking up your cross and following him, through practice, we would not be having this discussion. The teachings of Christ can only be understood through their practice.

Show me a man who has experience versus one who has none and there is no comparing the two; you my friend are a person who knows nothing of Christ: as your words declare no evidence of having the vast understanding between the differences of experiencial knowledge and theory.

What do you think Christ means when he says "if any man will come after me: let him take up his cross and follow me"? What is done on a cross? A person dies. If you are dead: who lives in your place? You still fail to see because you have not died, but rather you live and are dead.
Who made me alive when I was dead?

But Jesus chose Judas and according to you our works don't save us so Judas should be okay because he was chosen by Jesus. How do you know Judas wasn't born of God and how do you know you are?
What did the scripture foretell regarding Judas

Yes please do.
IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE I AM HE. YE SHALL DIE IN YOUR SINS?

DId those who looked to test HIM believe that HE could set them free?

They knew they had sin
The fact that they left when HE said he who is without sin should cast the first stone clearly showed that they were convicted of their sins

And here was the son of GOD further reminding them the law

The testimony of two or three are needed to validate a TRUTH

Convicted of their sins, they said but you're testifying of yourself

Will THE SON of GOD's TESTIMONY be valid

I mean HE did "clarify" that HOS TESTIMONY would not be alone

HIS FATHER also will testify
And then they asked the repeated question:

Who is your FATHER

Showing they DID NOT BELIEVE

In John 6 Jesus is addressing his followers. In John 8 he is not: you are mixing the 2 up.

But Judas was chosen and we can't use all the scriptures only the ones we pick and choose that are convenient: isn't that how this game works?
For what purpose but to fulfill the scripture concerning Judas:

The one who shares my bread has lifted up his heel against ME

No I'm not. I'm mixing nothing up

In fact in both John 6 and John 8 HE already knew who believed and who didn't

HE knew whom HE had chosen

If one didn't hear HIS WORD and OBEY HIM HE didn't judge that man. There is a judge for that man

His FATHER

The TESTIMONY which these did not believe

In John 6 HE addresses "believers" yes

But they turn back

Furthermore, these "believers" after HE said you must eat of ME started mumbling "wait...isn't this Joseph's son?"

They didn't believe and they turned back from following HIM

Which is why HE said to HIS TRUE FOLLOWERS, do you ALSO want to leave

Aside in John 6:64 (because HE already knew who did not believe)

You are wrong: Jesus clearly stated the Father had committed all judgment to the son.

of course

HE and THE FATHER are ONE

Didn't you understand that HE came forth from GOD?

THAT HE is in THE FATHER and THE FATHER is in HIM

Remember, HE also said, I have much more to say in judgement but GOD who sent ME is reliable

HE only said what the FATHER had given HIM to say

Do you think HE spoke everything just as THE FATHER would?

Do you believe in the triune GOD?

That CHRIST literally came to show us THE FATHER?

That he who sees THE SON, sees THE FATHER?

Read John 13

Not the different message given to HIS TRUE followers

Different from the message given to those who did not believe who HE said HE is in John 8

You can not follow ME
Where I going, you can not come
And if you do not believe I AM HE, Ye shall die in your sins

Yet to HIS DISCIPLES (John 13)

What did HE say?

Jesus walked on earth as a man... God is not flesh and blood, but spirit. Jesus was God's son and one with God in spirit. Jesus is not the Father but the son, being the Father's son he can show us what his Father is like, but they are 2 separate beings..
