Is it wrong to pray for the redemption of the fallen angels...?

Are they outside of God's grace and forgiveness?

Is there any hope for their salvation as well?

We had another post similar to this in the Young Adults forums, about whether God could forgive Satan. I would say the same thing here that I said there. When Satan and the angels fell from grace it was because they tried to overthrow God. They thought that they were just as good as him or better. Satan wanted to rule Heaven and Earth in God's place. The Bible speaks of one unforgiveable sin, blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. It is vague on exactly what that is, but if I would have to guess, I would think believing that you are better than God and can take his place would be it. Based on that, I think that Fallen angels and Satan are beyond salvation.

Of course I only think. I was not there when the Angels were cast out of heaven. I do not know God's mind nor have all the answers. I will use logic to come up with my best guess. I believe my answer is very reasonable. But since you feel the need to mock... tell me then if we need to know the answer what is it? Surely someone that can mock and laugh at guesses formed with logic and reason must know the answer.

I'm a christian universalist. There are no such things as formerly holy then fallen angels.

Satan was a liar and a murderer from the beginning.

Satan was "made" by God to resist the things of God.

When God is finished "allowing" Satan to exist as the anti-Christ spirits they are, they will be put away in the infamous Lake of Fire and they will devour away upon themselves. There will be no changing, no redeeming for them. They in their entirety are NOT LIFE they are ANTI life. They are NOT Truth, they are ANTI truth.

In short, a temporary tool that God made and allows.

At least you recognize you're confusion!

BTW, being amused is not mocking.

Oh? How is that exactly Ormly?

It is civil and polite to provide specific critique to accompany such statements rather than to simply rant without intention other than to pointlessly slander.

No, Satan will not be saved, period. There is not a single specific statement of satanic salvation in the entirety of scripture. And no, Satan will not be changing his will or mind in these matters to 'save himself' by the exercise thereof.

enjoy!

Ummm.... I agree.

Believers down to the last person really do not want to hear this, but the scriptural FACT of SATAN is that SATAN comes to ALL of our HEARTS.

Yes, each and every one. That 'working' is the form of BLINDNESS, DARKNESS AND THEFT that arrives into the HEARTS of ANYONE who picks up God's Words.

No one who is IN TRUTH should be denying the FACTS of that arrival IF they desire to DIVIDE themselves from same.

God has wrapped us ALL up with that blinding power presently. It is a form of COVERING or SHELL that God has placed upon ALL of His children, ALL of mankind.

WHY do you 'think' it is that we are ALL so utterly DIVIDED? The DIVISION is by Gods Exact and Divine Intent. Where the Word is sown, SATAN COMES immediately into the heart. Yes, in yours, mine and Ormlies (in particular...;)

enjoy!

As a universalist I agree too. I don't believe Satan and demons are or will be saved.

I also agree that God has placed a covering/veil over all, and God said He will take it away...

Isa 25:7 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering that covereth all peoples, and the veil that is spread over all nations.
Isa 25:8 He hath swallowed up death for ever; and the Lord Jehovah will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the reproach of his people will he take away from off all the earth: for Jehovah hath spoken it.

Amen T. Funny how one can see so much clearer when we acknowledge the truth of the facts of our own blindness.

Isaiah 42:19
Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD's servant?

We 'hear' through the truth of our deafness, we 'see' through the truth of our blindness and we do so by The Word of The Revealing One.

2 Peter 1:19
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts

Light unto YOU!

enjoy!
