in this life?

If I look forward to a vacation Im planning and this brings me a sense of warmth and happyness, is this wrong?

If I buy myself a new piece of clothing, for no other reason than the enjoyment of its newness and quality, is that wrong?

if I anticipate the blessings God has for me in this life, is that wrong?

The Lord wants us to enjoy life, as long as we aren't breaking his law.

This is not life (of faith, led by Yahweh's Spirit) as described in Scripture nor by Jesus.

It could (and often does) lead to feeling poorly , if hoping for fun/ nice times, then reading Scripture and seeing how life really is described for Ekklesia (born again ones) by Jesus.

I have come to the realization of one thing about life. It is that this life is not meant for our enjoyment and pleasure but to follow the Lord in everything we think, say and do. It is all about denying ourselves, taking up our crosses and following after Jesus in true righteousness and holiness.

I agree that our goal in life is not to enjoy and please ourselves, but that does not mean we should NOT enjoy the good things that God gives us!

It is right to enjoy and be grateful for the good things that God gives to us, and that includes physical things as well as spiritual blessings. (And God instituted holidays and celebrations in the Bible) The problem arises when these things become our reason for living and/or get in the way of our walk with God.

Regarding spending money on things you don't need, that is another issue - we do have to manage our time and resources wisely. I choose to live as simply as I can so that I can give more to the church and to those in need around the world. How we spend our money is between ourselves and God, but for myself, I would feel uncomfortable buying a lot of things I don't need when there is so much need elsewhere.

Yahweh's Word says "set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth, for ye are dead and your life is HID WITH CHRIST in GOD" .....
and
"whoever loves the world and the things of the world" cannot

Not the pagan ones.

I'm not aware anyone was recommending pagan celebrations!!! OP was asking if it is ok to enjoy holidays. I said that God appointed times of rest and celebration for His people. Where did you get the pagan bit from?

No.
If I buy myself a new piece of clothing, for no other reason than the enjoyment of its newness and quality, is that wrong?
Potentially, it could be hoarding. I recommend treating clothing like food. With food, it's 100% OK to enjoy what you eat, and eat what you enjoy - so long as you're hungry. If you are not hungry at all and you're eating food only for the taste, that's gluttony. Likewise, if you need a new shirt, absolutely enjoy the shirt and its quality and everything about it. If you need to make room for it by removing clothing that is still in good shape and still fits and is still stylish enough to wear outside the house, then you have a problem.
if I anticipate the blessings God has for me in this life, is that wrong?
No. Do yourself a favor though, and don't assume that God promised you something that isn't in Scripture or very clearly revealed by the Holy Spirit and very clearly confirmed by Godly and wise believers.

This might be relevant:

"Boasting About Tomorrow
13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”— 14 yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. 15 Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” 16 As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. 17 So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin." (James 4:13-17)
