Is it wrong to continue dating someone once you know you are not going to marry them?

And the greek word for woman is a MARRIED woman. The word for a single woman is usually translated virgin, maid, etc.

How would you define a woman? In our society, I've noticed adult females are called girls all of the time and are only considered women when they get middle aged. In my opinion, people become men and women in their teenage years. Do you agree?

Where did I say that? What I said is, the word dating generally refers to two people having a "more than platonic" relationship. That is sinful because it involves lustful thoughts and feelings outside of marriage.
Whether I have lustful thoughts when spending time with a woman or not doesn´t seem to depend on whether we call it a "date" or not.

It is not about how WE use the words. It is about how words were used and understood (denotation, connotation) in the various cultures around the east end of the Mediterranean 2000 years ago. Your or my "opinion" means absolutely nothing.

In biblical times, at what age were females called women? In America, it seems like the term woman usually is used around when they reach around 40 yrs old, whereas males past early twenties are rarely referred to as boys.

In the first century, "woman" almost always meant she was married, regardless of age. (if not, it was usually specified)

And she COULD be married at 10 or 11. It was rare but not unheard of.

Why do you think people in the 21st century use the term girl to refer to adult women? That doesnt make sense to me. I mean, most of the time a guy in his 20s isnt called a boy.
