You seem to have missed verse 6.I was thinking about Romans 7:14
"For we know that The Written Law is spiritual but I am carnal and I am sold to sin."
So this verse says "The Written Law is spiritual"...hmmm. of course, it came straight from the Creator. So what happened to us...we became carnal. But, a Way was provided for us to have what is spiritual, written upon our hearts.
If you ask him if he esteems a day, you'll get no response or a denial. When for example the bible says, let nobody judge you about sabbath days.. why add to the plain interpretation of the bible and add second intentions there and say that is other sabbath days and not the normal too?
In romans 14 he says that one person esteems one day, the other not, everyone just do it for the lord, the one who holds a day and the one who do not.
If he kept the sabbath is because he was a jew too.
I heard about this one - Heads I win, tails you lose.It may if we illustrate it as a two-sided coin with a heads (blessing) and a tails (curse) side. And we understand that we died to the tails side since, through Yah's providence, the coin has landed on heads. So tails is done away with and we get to enjoy the blessings! So, it is the same Law (coin) with two sides.
So back this up. You can't with MK 2:27-28 because of context and the letter disagrees with Moses (the law).Jesus kept Sabbath because He was a man, and that's who Sabbath was made for.
So you disprove your stance and worry about your position in heaven. WOW!Well, those are the most valuable ones huh.
And He did say this:
"Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
Matthew 5:19
Nothing wrong with striving for heavenly treasure
I wasn't aware this was a private conversation.Ace jumped into the conversation I had with you and commented. I show that the discussion did not support his comment -- then you responded and I responded. Nice thing is - that post of mine shows all of it. Easy to follow

I love you too, but you misspelled "Icky".
I don't think that is totally correct. As I understand it, the Galatians were gentiles and former pagans. Paul is admonishing them not to fall back into the same pattern of law-keeping that they were under in the past.Paul isn't talking to pagans in Galatians. Paul is addressing Jews in the Church that are confused by both their traditions and the Judaizers demanding adherence to the law of Moses.
Speaking of treasure, you might appreciate this one.Well, those are the most valuable ones huh.

My bad.it is not "icky" LOL...it is "Achi"...my brother
My bad.
Can you define it for us?
I obviously had no idea what it was.
Wow. I missed it twice.I did, it means "my brother"
You try to back up your idea with an out of context passage. Jesus isn't talking to the world, He's talking to Jews (the lost sheep - Israel). Bides that it disagrees with Moses. So I ask you directly if Moses spoke the truth in Ex 31:13, 17?I back this up with Mark 2:27-28. Just because you said I cannot doesn't mean it is true.
Mark 2:27. Then he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. 28 So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.”
The Galatian church was mixed with Jews and Gentiles. Who was causing problems in the early Church? Was it pagan or Jews? Acts 15 and the historical record of Acts in how Jews treated Paul.I don't think that is totally correct. As I understand it, the Galatians were gentiles and former pagans. Galatians 4:8-11
Formerly, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those who by nature are not gods. 9 But now that you know God—or rather are known by God—how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable forces? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again? 10 You are observing special days and months and seasons and years! 11 I fear for you, that somehow I have wasted my efforts on you.
Being a Christian is a much better deal. Why not go all the way and just become Jewish? What does exactly, then, does Christ do for you?
