Maybe you're right. Anyways the comment you were replying to was more out of place probably. Not sure how eternal life got mixed in with wearing jewelery. haha.

Jews have the star of david... Moslems crescent....
the cross is the reminder of atonement / propiitation / a command of Jesus to walk the walk each day....
all those who reject the cross and seek to enter by another gate, will miss the boat...

If one is a Christian they believe they are saved by Christ, not the cross.
