Oh carnal man... Always wants too see it to believe it, and even if you did you would still reject it. You may yet see it, not now however.
If Jesus is God and he had to choose between some hell fire screaming preacher or me, I already know which one he would choose.

Fear of the Lord is just as important as Loving the Lord. Fear of the Lord is realizing you are a sinful human being in need of his Grace. Placing your faith in Jesus is fearing the Lord in way, because you acknowledge your own righteousness is not enough to please him. After that comes loving the Lord, where you delight in his Grace and Love.
Psalm 111 talks about the healthy fear of the Lord.

For the unbeliever it can be a dread of judgment; for the believer it can be a wholesome reverential fear.

That does not answer his question. How can we reliably distinguish what you call hell from something you are merely imagining?

Awesome that you can judge him. The rest I removed from that post. I break those words in Jesus' Name. Start praying for people instead of making wrong judgements and speaking unbelief.

Pray for him? Sure.

Wrong judgement? Not exactly. Many witnessed the miracles of Jesus and still did not believe.

Oh... Now I see why you did not include the rest of my words. I didn't say he is going to hell, only that he may since he is in a state of unbelief.

Just looking for an objective reason to believe this place exists. If you can come up with one, let me know.

You wouldn't. You wouldn't concern yourself at all. That indicates you would have come to love Jesus for a better reason than to just get out of hell. And Abysmul's right; Jesus didn't do that, giving fear of eternal torment (which is a dubious doctrine to me at best, anyway) as th eincentive for following Him.
That reminds me of the good thief on the cross. When the thief said I deserve what I am getting but then referred to Jesus and said this man has done no wrong, he was defending and expressing unconditional love for Jesus. He then asked Jesus if Jesus would remember him. He did not ask for Jesus to save them as the other thief did. He only longed to be remembered by Jesus. And for this reason he was elevated above all those that were there. He became the embodiment of the second great commandment along with Jesus himself. I am deeply moved by the compassion I see there.

Ehh. The other thief was speaking in an earthly sense of saving him from the current situation. The "good thief" as you call him believed Jesus was Lord, and wanted to be in his kingdom. He had probably heard the stories of Jesus being the messiah, and in that moment had faith in him. The other thief didn't believe he was, he just mocked him.
