  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Is it time for Donald to bow out? (MOVED)

I think Trump should:

  • Step down from the candidacy

  • Continue to run

  • Not sure at this point

A "few disgruntled people"?

You mean the Haitian people?

Again, you are acting like the Clintons didn't give the Haiti people anything. They contributed millions and have been over there. When you give of your money. People just want more and they will say and do anything so as to get more of that money.

You got that wrong. The money was from donations from the citizens of the US that was funneled through Hillary and Bill because they were in charge of the donations. They were in charge of who would get the work done and then they funneled that to people that gave big time to the Clinton Foundation even when the people were not qualified to do the job. Thus the job didn't get done.

And like Hillary would serve us better...made friends with the Muslims and shunned Israel our greatest, most western thinking ally in the region!

Your missing the point. The Clintons gave milllions to the Haiti people.
You're talking like they reached into their own pockets with this. It was scam in the best traditions of the functioning of the Clinton Foundation. Even if we gave them every benefit of the doubt and said that deceitful local contractors did the skimming, etc. and didn't do the work they'd been expected to do...how do you excuse the fact that the Clintons didn't do anything about that? How does this show the great concern for the Haitian people you're trying to persuade us of?

God have mercy.

Sounds like a hypocritical hullabaloo. There have been a number of lecherous Democrat presidents, such FDR, JFK, & BC, who enjoyed a string of obliging women. A strong libido is a common characteristic of powerful leaders ... doesn't excuse lewd behaviour but helps to explain it.

America is corrupt to the core and either one of these candidates is completely appropriate to lead it,they both lie, both tend toward vulgarity and are perfectly qualified to lead a lying and vulgar culture.
I'm not going to contest that, but you know...that's democracy. When the candidates were chosen strictly by the parties, the candidates usually were better qualified. But the people freely chose both Hillary and Trump. And if they had not been the popular choices, what we'd be reading now would be all about how the system is all "smoke-filled room" stuff and undemocratic.

Let's say they didn't donate a dime to the Haiti people (Which I do not believe is not true). The thing is that they made it happen. They set up a charity that helped people. What did Trump do for them?
Again, he is only concerned now because he wants power and he doesn't care what he has to do to get it.

Yes both the people and candidates are corrupt, now they are engaging in a comical finger pointing campaign to claim the other side is more corrupt and the people of course have chosen their favorite brand of corruption.

The only difference between the two is that one has spent decades in politics manipulating it and the other has spend decades outside of politics making deals with it.

The Clinton's even subbed out a Haiti gold mining job to Hillary's brother when he had never mined gold in his entire life!

You have to be careful what you hear in the media. It's not alway true. Even if it was true, do you really want someone like Trump in office versus Hilary Clinton? The guy has no clue to run this country. He is also a very hateful and angry guy. Do you want angry people who do not have a good head on their shoulders near nuclear codes?

You're really changing your tune in the face of the evidence, aren't you? Now it's supposed to be Trump's fault because the Clintons got caught in a scam that, despite what you want us to think, made money for their foundation and their family when it was supposed to benefit the Haitian people instead.

It's not just that. Who has the mental capacity to be able to run this country intelligently? I am sorry. That's not Trump. His last Presidential debate shows how idiotic and clueless he is to be commander in chief.

Stop and think man. They helped the Haiti people. Trump hasn't helped them. That is the bottom line. If they did do something corrupt in addition to helping them it does not undo the help that they did do. They still helped the people. You are acting like they didn't even help the people at all. Trump didn't help them. They did. Yet, Trump is throwing down his Trump card and acting like he is better in this situation when he is actually worse off (Seeing he didn't set up any kind of charity to help them prior to the Election race).

Are the Clintons perfect? No. By no means. They are politicians.
And I will be praying for them to know God like the apostles did.
But as far as leadership of this country goes: At least Hillary has a good enough head on her shoulders to understand the policies so as to make this a better country. Trump's answer on one issue was.... "Law and Order!"

Seriously? People want this guy to be commander in chief?

The debates are for the consumption of sports fans with that mentality....they prove nothing.

Oh, stop. I've already mentioned that most financial scams use some seed money in order to rake in a lot more for the scammers. I'm actually surprised that you'd try to make lemonade out of this lemon.

Are you actually attacking me over this? Seriously? Personal insults are not a Christian trait my friend.

Anyone who has common basic knowledge of knowing how to read people knows that Trump is clueless and is merely a hot headed individual who should in no way make decisions for this country. His answers were horrible.

My oldest daughter, who is a Christian, told me months ago that she would never vote for him. She said that every time she watched him speak he gave her the creeps. It appears that she had good reason to get those feelings about him.
But you know, the way you feel right now about Trump is the same way I felt about Bill Clinton when it came out that he had taken advantage of a young intern named Monica. I was so embarrassed for our nation and for his family.
