I assumed she meant drugs like cocaine, heroine, pot,
ecstacy, crack, etc.
Okay, I'm armed with Lexapro, Vicodin, Valium, Klonopin, Xanax, Naproxen and Hydrocodone. Granted I only take the Lexapro, Vicodin, Klonopin and Naproxen, now. But I have the others from a couple of years ago. What are you bringing to this fight?
Actually, some of those drugs were originally used for medicinal purposes.

yes thanks for the input/clarificationi believe a couple still are; however, that's not what Nadiine's getting at. she's talking about those drugs (and any for that matter) as they are used for recreational purposes.
Yes I know, but you aren't taking it "recreationally" to get a mentalThey still use some of those drugs for medicinal purposes. Not in the sniffing way either.
A lot of drugs used today that cant be sold over the counter are also addictive and have bad side effects, people become addicted to painkillers, or use them to top themselves. So your comment in that respect isnt really valid.
We are told that God wanted us to choose to follow him, to believe in him and to obey him...Then we are told that if we dont we will go to hell. Doesnt really sound like a choice to me.
Why then would it be called free choice and free will when there is a consequence to CHOOSING the other path?
Its like saying to a kid, you can listen to the story if you want...but if you dont you will spend the rest of the week in detention.
LOL! Street drugs are not Christians. So you're going to tell us that street drugs are fine as Christians?
Zecryphon, throw out any old medications that have expired. They can be very bad for your health. Just throw them out!
Just an friendly FYI.
But if I throw them out, I can't throw them at Nadiine. But seriously, you can take expired meds for up to a year, after that they're pretty ineffective. But they don't become poisonous and they won't kill you. I don't take any expired meds anyway. I just leave them in the medicine cabinet and get new scripts.
Yep the same is true of vitamins too, they don't 'go bad' after an
expire date, they lose potency and if you don't take them soon after,
there isn't much point in taking them at all,
it's better to keep them up to date I think.
If you throw any of the good ones, make sure you aim at my
mouth
LOLThe only script I have that's expired is Hydrocodone, which did nothing for me. But I have a friend on Facebook in Tuskeegee, who swears by this stuff. It's weird he's even taking it, considering he's a Word of Faith guy. LOL
Generics work for some people. My Xanax is still good as I switched to Klonopin from Xanax a month or so ago. I can aim some Xanax at your mouth, should be pretty easy to catch, it's a small pill, unlike these Vicodin horse-pills I'm taking. These things are huge! But oh man, are they good for pain! LOL
