ok...i dont get it? I did it on easy, normal..and am almost down with heoric...but is it possible to even complete a level of Halo on Legendary? I mean, this is hard stuff? Has anyone out there beat Halo on legendary? if so, do you get anything special when you do it?

YES!!! Bwahahaha, my brother and I beat the last level on Legendary (you don't even have to beat the rest if you beat it on the other modes for some reason)...

You get a special ending which is pretty funny, but I don't want to ruin it for you.

I'm pretty sure my boyfriend beat the game on Legendary. If not yet, he will soon.

However, I cannot even figure it out on the 'easy' setting...

w00t! but is all you get a special ending? oneof my friends told me that you get the plasma sword..and something else, in mulitplayer? but he also said that was something he read somewhere.

Not that I know of... But I noticed, at the end of (one of?) the demo, they show short multiplayer videos, and in one of them one of the players is holding up a pole of sorts, and another player is holding a skull...? It's a mystery

Just on a two-day rental, I won the game on Easy, Normal, and beat levels 1, 2 and I think 6 on Legendary.

Well i havent done it but i have done the 1st level on it but not the hole game well if you have one of the new copys of halo you can do DEMO on the start menu and now do the well i dont know what it,s name is but it,s like the making halo 2 well do that move and some one will say "thears so moch we laft out of halo1" or some theng like that well thats all.....

The Skull is in a kind of multiplayer.....maybe oddball. The pole is in Capture the Flag.

Well there was a big thing in my school and town about how Master Chief takes off his helmet at the end. I think this is false though, I've beaten some of the levels on legendary either by myself, but it was much easier on coop, but duh. Anyway, the big changes are the very beginning intro movie, with only one noticable part, the one soldier kinda gets a little irate with the mouth talking about the covenant, but the ending was the same except for one thing, which i thought was pointless. Again like someone said, it's just bragging rights, knowing that you did it. Any big time special features, nope, sorry.

he takes off his helmet but you cant see his face. the ending on legendary has an elite and a soldier becoming mates so to speak.. lol

One of my friends beat Halo four times on Legendary. He came in 3rd to last in our Halo tournament. Yea, we're geeks.

Actually, the bots are kind of repetitive so once you get into a sort of rythem on legendary, its just a matter of repeating the same thing over and over. Which doesn't work in multiplayer, which is why poor Steve lost. Better luck next time.

This reminds me of Shinobi... people can't beat it on the easiest difficulty, Normal, and I was barely breaking a sweat on the hardest, Super. I play the game for fun while others are trying their hardest to beat a single level. Although I've never played Halo in my life.

Love Halo, beat it on Legendary many times (alone as well), you get some longer movies. The best part is the challenge, although I do wish it was a little harder.

Hardest game I ever played was probably Shogun:Total War. That game was nuts.
