There is a war going on and America is at the forefront of the battle, as it is on earth.

I think Christians are holding out wonderfully well so far, however it is wise to trust only in the Lord.

It's because we are getting closer to the end times, I think believers are holding out quite well dispite all the things that are going around all of us. Really they are not discrimanating against us but against our God when they offend us they not only offend us but the God that is on the inside of us. But God is in control and will turn the situation around once more:)God Bless you indeed:)

As we get closer to the end times we get closer to GOD. GOD loves America so much!! in Australia (where I live) we hear amazing stories at my church about America. And sometimes I wish it could happen here. I know it will though!!!

But As these amazing GOD given things happen in your country the emeime doesn't like it so he will try everything to distroy GOD's people. Be Strong America, other countrie are praying for you.

im not too sure, i think it is soon but maybe not quite our generation, one of the prophecies were that people would be sent to the ends of the earth, many christians in England are starting to feel the call to go to different countries, from China to Africa.

Somethings deffinatley happening! And as for more Christians being suppressed most deffinately. Im hearing more stories not only form places like Korea and China but also America and Europe.

We're praying for you America and Australia as i know you are for us xx

I am not sure things in Canada are getting worse. There has always been some opposition to christians in canada since i was borne i think (being christian is frowned upon and is not to be spoken of) but all the prophets have been speaking of revivial and i belive it has already started.

you know...I am so glad some of you are praying for America...we are in desperate need here...for a return to the God of our fathers. Thank you all.
All of us are in desperate need. In Europe, especially here (Spain) and France and a few other places, we are persecuted in the name of tolerance. It is not alright to be openly Christian in most government buildings, including schools.

forgive my pessimism, but i think that things aren't going well at all. i think that there is mounting anti-christian ideolgy that is becoeming less and less tolerant. i also think that things are a lot worse than we think, and when it all comes to an end, we will be suprized.

It seems to me that there were many times in history when people believed the end of the world was as hand. Environmental catastrophes, disastrous wars, plagues, pestilence, etc.

Those times, however, local affairs were not seen on a broader scale, communication and information sources were limitied to almost nil. Until the past few decades, world-wide instant access to events on a personal level was unknown.

For some, the fatalistic idea of the End Times seems the most reasonable explanation. But what if, just maybe, this definitive ending is still further off; mankind will have to continue to cope with the real threats to different faiths and attempted oppression and discrimination of Christians.

What shall we do then?

Revelations predicts that Christians will be persecuted, killed, and isolated in the end times but they will never be destroyed and some of God's people will always be here.

Revelations may have been about Christians under the oppression of the Roman Empire. It can be interpreted as referring to Rome and the Emperor, which came to pass in the exact way.

Today, it is not enough for Christians to simply wait for the end times, do not confuse the Rapture with the bliss of ignorance.

If Christians had not continued to struggle and persevere for the last few hundred years, they would not still be free to worship.

To submit to the trend to close down the churches and systematically dismantle every tenet of the Christian faith by shrugging your shoulders and saying, "Oh well, it is just the end times" will make for such carelessness a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I don't see Revelation as being about something that already happened, especially given the warnings to the future Christians and the visions of the future, even the introduction about John recieving visions from God wouldn't make any sense if it was about the past.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show his servants things which must shortly come to pass;
Revelation 1:1

I do agree about the Rapture, Ive read those verses and it doesn't seem to imply what some Christians say it does. I believe Christians need to keep the ministry strong in these hard times and keep themselves safe.

I agree with this. Every day I hear more and more and it just makes me shake my head in sadness. All you have to do is look at the popular media to see it. My daughter's previous public school had "GLBT history" month but won't allow the words "Under God" to be uttered when they do the Pledge of Allegiance. Now I am hearing that the U.S. government is doing away with any kind of funding for any Christian-based programs in prisons. I'm afraid things are going to be getting a lot worse. We all need to be strong together. I fear for my children.

THis is very sad...I agree. We must continue to pray and ask God what to do...however I don't expect it to get better, but our faith will be strengthened
