Hi everyone
I was wrong, number 1 is the only answer.
But some people are struggling with this sin. Some people are struggling with another sin. Struggling with a sin is like walking along a forest trail when a gorilla jumps out at you and grabs you and you have to wrestle with it for your life. You have to struggle with it. You cant tell it that another believer said there were no gorillas here, or that gorillas are mortal sins, or someone else walked here and didnt see a gorilla, or that someone else wrestled a smaller gorrilla or a chimp. You gotta struggle with it before it tears you limb from limb.
if you are without sin then well done- you have won the pharisee of the year award:o .
Luke 18
9To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everybody else, Jesus told this parable: 10"Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11The Pharisee stood up and prayed about[
a] himself: 'God, I thank you that I am not like other menrobbers, evildoers, adulterersor even like this tax collector. 12I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.'
13"But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, 'God, have mercy on me, a sinner.' 14"I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."
