Hillary Clinton has been very active with PAC emails, sending them out as if she is running for President again in 2020.

At first blush I found this very surprising. Her health barely seemed to sustain this last run. But on second thought: nope. Of COURSE Hillary will run if she can--she would not be able to let her presidential aspirations go.

I suspect, as this article states, most Democrats feel her time has come and gone. How they're going to get her to Exit Stage Left is a whole 'nother story.

Not long ago, I told a group of friends, all liberal Dems, that I believed she was keeping open the possibility of a rematch against Trump, and might already have decided to run.

It was unanimous — they were horrified. “I would not give her a single cent,” one man, formerly a big donor to Clinton, said emphatically.

Their reasons are no surprise: Her moment has passed, she was a terrible candidate and her endless claims of victimhood are tiring rather than inspiring. It’s time to find new blood.

Those assessments are unassailable, and certainly are shared by the 20 or so Dems lining up to take their shot at the nomination.

Moreover, there isn’t any clamoring for another Clinton run in Hollywood or other leftist hotbeds. They want a new blockbuster, not a sequel to failure.

IMO, the democratic party as a whole, would likely push back against another run. She simply, isn't the "ordained" one any longer and the fact that many democrats who voted for Obama, failed to vote for her in 2016, tells you all you need to know.

I highly doubt, she would get the big money backing either, as she has worn out her welcome, IMO.

But this whole time the Democrats have been blaming her 2016 loss on Russia.

And they are proud that she won the popular vote (mainly because of California).

So I wouldn't be surprised if they give her another chance.

She may run but have my doubts she would. I don't get the sense that she is considering another attempt from what is put forth in that opinion piece. It looks more like she is remaining politically active despite losing her bids for presidency. I don't see why that is surprising or should assume it is building another campaign.

With that, she would not get the support she had in the last election and likely rejected right off.

She won’t run, and she wouldn’t win even if she did. The idea is ridiculous, no matter how happy the idea makes the right.
Why wouldn't the left want her to run again when they believe that it was Russia's fault that she lost?

I hope not. I'm throwing my full support behind that New York bartendress/bartendperson. ;)
2020 might be a repeat of 2016 but with Ocasio-Cortez taking the role Bernie Sanders had.

I saw that. Donors would seem unlikely to support her again. Other than Obama, though, there really isn't another Democrat with a national following. So she may run by default.

Unless somebody does something to get a name for themselves, that may be the case.

Democrats need to work on being an ideas party, like the Republicans did for decades. That will naturally draw out personalities.

I don't know, I think the Dem party has shifted enough that it would support Cortez in the Hillary role.

A woman who will only be 30 when 2020 comes along and who hasn’t even won her congressional seat so far is not going to be running as a serious candidate to be the Democratic nominee. This is utterly absurd. Funny how this Clinton and Ocasio-Cortez nonsense is only being talked up by conservatives here.

With an ego like hers, of course she will run.

I think and hope that the American voters have had all they want of socialist candidates. Hillary needs to either go home or to jail.

Hillary Clinton is a socialist now? Has this place turned into the Twilight Zone?
