Is "Heaven is for real", real?

I recently finished reading Turpo's book, Heaven is for Real, based upon his small son's experience while undergoing surgery. If anyone here read it would love to hear your take on it.

At first I was very inspired; but I still have a problem with the responses of the little boy. Perhaps my suspicions are unwarranted but it seems a little boy's imagination was fueled by his family.

Just not sure.

After watching an interview of the family on Youtube, I'm not sure. Parts of it sound believable, some parts sound like vivid dreams of a four year old (honestly, he was four. No offense to them intended). I thought it was a nice story.

A friend recommended it to me. I wonder if you would find it "real" or "unreal" haha. Anyway, to me personally, the book was really inspiring and life-changing.
