What makes it true or untrue is if it lines up with the word of God. Even though we trust our Pastor to tell us the truth, still he tells us NOT to take his word for it, but take everything to the word of God to make sure that it is in there.

It does not matter what I beleive what matters is what the Bible says. We do not need a teacher, God is able to teach us. It is interesting to me though for people to share with me what God is doing in their life and what He is teaching and showing them. So what is God doing in your life and what is He showing you?

The "word of god" states that Jesus is a big leafy vine. And (IIRC) he never said he was speaking in parable at that moment (correct me if Im wrong)

Obviously you arent a literalist (you appear to subscribe to Progressive Creationism).

Some christians believe in a literal 144 hour creation. Who are you to say that their interpretation doesnt line up with the 'word of god'? They are reading the 'word of god' as it is.

I don't know what you are. The Bible says to judge no one before their time. So I assume everyone either is a christian or they are in the process of becoming a christian. Nothing else is logical to me, why would anyone turn down as great of a gift as God offers to us. Some things are just go good to refuse.

So, I went to look up the Antonyms for intelligent and the primary word that came up was stupid. So by definition if evolution is not a intelligent process, then it must be a stupid one.

So how do evos explain this? Is evolution stupid or intelligent?

Umm... you realize that if something doesn't fit the definition of one word, it is not necessarily the opposite, right.

For example. Teachers try to avoid the word white when describing chalk board, because they aren't. I went to look up antonyms for white and the primary word that came up was black. So by definition if the chalk board isn't white, then it must be black.

Yes, that is correct, everything is black or white or something inbetween. As you know color is in the light and the object only has the ablity to absorb or reflect light. Black is all light absorbed, white is all light reflected. So any other color would be something inbetween total absorb and total reflect. You can control color in two ways, one is to filter the light, the other way is to control the reflective surface with paint, pigment dye and so forth.

How could it be any more clear than this? Jesus did nothing of Himself, he would only speak the things that He learned from the Father.

Colour refers to the wavelength of light. Green, the colour of a chalkboard, is neither white nor black and has a different wavelength than either. Either way, you completely missed the point. Evolution isn't intelligent or stupid, because both those terms imply cognitive abilities, which simply don't apply to evolution.

Light refers to the wavelength of light. Green, the colour of a chalkboard, is neither white nor black and has a different wavelength than either.

All light is on the same wavelength. They just occupy a different place on that wavelength. I was a theater student in college and I worked on the lighting crew of the Ohio Ballet for three years. Also I have studied a lot about light because I have done a lot of photography. You can put a dancer on stage in white and use color gels over the light to make their outfit look any color that you want it to be. The audience will think that the costume is really that color.

Because you control reality in theater with the lighting, you have to take people into it, and then at the end of the performance you have to deliver them back into the world that they live in.
