Well, i hate antidepressants and for the few it helps - good for them.

I cant say zoloft did jack for me,.. i hated them.
Wellbutrin was great - unfortunately way expensive.

If you look at the side effects - its terrible what they can do to a person.

I dont remember the drug my friend was on back in the 90's and it was really popular - cant rmember the name tho.

Anyway - she took off all her clothes and ran down the street chasing her then bf with a knife. The drug made her crazy... literally.
She finally checked in to a mental health facility.

I havent talked to her in such a long time now. I do know that reportedly on that drug she would just strip off her clothes a few times and go nuts.

It doesn't work for everyone, that's for sure. It makes you wonder if depression is a spiritual problem and not a medical one in all cases.

My poor Dad suffered badly from bi polar and no drug ever really helped. he hated taking them. I firmly believe it was his faith in Christ that at the end of the day, it kept him from harming himself.

The solace in him dying of a pulmonary aneurism is that I know he isn't suffering with depression any longer.

I think we can do better at treating ppl but these meds make $$ so that is what will be promoted.
