Is creationism actually on the rise anywhere?

Based on what I've been able to research re: polling data, creationism is declining in the U.S., Canada and Australia.

There was some furor a couple years ago about creationism being on the rise in Europe, but I can't find any actual polling or trend information.

No new news. I believe the Europe news was about Creationist organization activity, and not polls.

Yes. I recall an SA article on that. I found a link. It mentions that polling has been done, but doesn't provide any specifics. I've also read that creationist thinking is most prevalent in eastern Europe, especially among immigrant communities from the middle east. But I don't know of any numerical data.

Yup, that's one of the primary sources I'd read about this alleged rise in creationism in Europe.

That's why I'd love to find some trend data, but so far the information I can find simply points to creationist beliefs being a minority in Europe.

I know in the U.S. and Canada creationists are predominantly the older cohort (e.g. 55+)

So you should also know, with the aging of population, the creationist SHOULD increase.

That is not what is happening. In the U.S. in particular creationism has been on a steady decline over the last couple decades. Since creationist believers tend to be older and old people tend to die before young people, natural attrition reduces the overall proportion of creationist believers over time.

The brain washing of our children will probably continue until there are no creationists. The force teaching of the ToE seems to be working. The devil applauds.

You did not address (see) the question (so I have to feed you to understand the question). According to what you said, if the percentage of old population increase, then whatever positively correlated to the old population should also increase. If so, why does it decrease?

I am not sure. When people become old, they also become wise. If creationist among old people increases in percentage, it only shows the education on evolution completely failed.

I'm not sure you understand how demographics works here. Old-age isn't creating creationists.

Rather, people who are younger and more educated are less likely to adopt creationist beliefs. Hence, it is is the older generations that have the greater percentage of creationists. And since old people typically die sooner than young people, as the population ages, more creationists are dying off leading to fewer creationists in the population over time.

No wonder with the relentless brainwashing the world bestows upon us.

Those of us not encased in tin foil call education what it is, education.

I'm not talking about evolution within species' I'm talking about all that nonsense of fish becoming mammals.....show me any evidence of one species turning into another ....give me a rational explanation of how life started explain to me how DNA changes ....like the DNA of a reptile becomes the DNA of a human

...

So you basically want someone to explain the entirety of how evolutionary biology and genetics works?

You know there are free courses on this stuff:

Introduction to Genetics and Evolution | Coursera
Ecology and Evolutionary Biology | Open Yale Courses
Paleontology: Early Vertebrate Evolution | Coursera

If you *really* want to understand how it works, I suggest taking advantage of those.

Another way to say this:
As people who know the truth die (as everyone living before 1800 have died also, btw),
people who do not know the truth take over.
