Is creationism actually on the rise anywhere?

Do you have any polling/demographics data on creationism in Europe? That's what I'm looking for in this thread.

Those who can communicate their desires to Google can find their own answers, unless they are only interested in putting others down.

I've tried searching and haven't found anything. That's why I'm asking others if they are aware of any data.

Especially since it's possible some of this data has been published in other languages.

Do you have any?

Yah there is about Europe - and its scaring them... considering Europe is the stronghold of evolution and their propaganda is failing as more and more people learn the facts.....

Scientists warn: creationism is on the rise in Europe

It's because they can actually teach creationism alongside evolution in the schools, and truth wins out over propaganda every time.... it is why they are resisting so hard and spending billions to keep it from being taught alongside evolution in the USA..... They are scared of teaching it side-by-side with creation, they would loose just like they are in Europe.....

either that or the rise is due to the millions of Muslims that have recently immigrated to European nations..

they are creationists in largest part.

Based on what I've been able to research re: polling data, creationism is declining in the U.S., Canada and Australia.
The decline of creationism was predicted many years ago by a creationist who saw the rise of evolutionists:

"For although they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to Him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles." -- (Romans 1:21-23)

It should be noted that long before Darwin's grandparents were born, many people believed that life on earth arose naturally and not supernaturally. Darwin simply came up with a theory to explain what many people had already believed for millenniums.

You have no idea what evolution is.
But I do know what a religion is.

If evolution theory is treated like a religion, it's a religion.

Because, as with all religions, evolution theory requires a good measure of faith on the part of the believer.

This is what creationists tell themselves to avoid dealing with the actual science. Like I said, carry on.

Nope, this is what creationists tell themselves when the science is lacking.

Why would a creationists accept a scientific idea that is rejected by scientists?

Most creationists aren't familiar with the science in the first place though. That's the problem.

Why would a creationists accept a scientific idea that is rejected by scientists?

Hahaha, wow haven't seen that ol' chestnut in awhile! ^_^

Aside from the fact the DI's so-called "Dissent from Darwinism" isn't actually a rejection of the modern theory of evolution, the NCSE's Project Steve has thoroughly repudiated the notion that there is a scientific rebellion against evolutionary biology.

There is overwhelming evidence that the life that was created evolved over time. The fossilized remains of the different epochs of life can be observed in abundance in the strata of the earth. The dirt beneath our feet was once alive.

The pseudo-biographical creation story of Genesis was created by the Hebrew priest class for public consumption by the congregation. They appropriated ancient Mesopotamian lore of relative quality in the construction of the story of origins of the Israelites.
