James is not speaking about specifically procuring justification here...Only declaring it, even the best of works are imperfect my friend.You see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. James 2:24
Amen. God promises that if we believe in His Son and receive His Son as our Savior, He would not condemn us, but rather give us eternal life (John 3:16-18; 3:36; 4:14; 5:24; 6:26-27; 6:35-40; 6:47-51; 6:54; 10:27-29; 11:25-26; 12:44-46;17:1-1-5; Romans 6:22-23; 10:9-10; 1 Corinthians 1:4-9;2 Corinthians 5:17-19; Ephesians 1:13-14; Titus 1:2; 3:4-7; John 5:9-13; 1 John 5:20). He even gave us His own testimony about what He would do for us if we believed in His Son. He said that if we believe in Jesus, He would give us eternal life (1 John 5:10-11). He promised us that if we believe in Jesus and receive Him as our Savior, we would be born of Him and we would become His children (John 1:12-13). He promised us that if we believe and have faith in Jesus, He would forgive us, justify us, and redeem us through the blood of Jesus shed for us on the cross (Isaiah 1:18; Matthew 26:28; Romans 3:21-26; 5:1-11; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Ephesians 1:7-14; 2:13; Colossians 2:11-15; Hebrews 9:11-15; 10:1-22; Titus 3:4-7; 1 Peter 1:18-21; 1 John 1:5-10; 2:1-2).
"8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:8-10
"7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace 8 which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, 9 having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, 10 that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earthin Him." Ephesians 1:7-10
Agreed.If you were to reproduce the whole of the verse (as was done a few posts back), it would be apparent that the meaning is Faith, not mere comprehension.
Jesus said 'Whosoever believes' - He didn't put any if's, and's or buts' man has put those in. If you believe, the works will follow.

Wow. Where did Jesus say this exactly?

Works are proof of salvation not a requirement for salvation. Those who say they are saved and yet show no evidence of being saved are probably not saved. We are to believe and then follow Christ, not believe and then continue to follow our own will and desires.
2 Corinthians 5:17
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
Matthew 16:24
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

rewards for works at the JSOC, which is the judgment of BELIEVERS, not a judgment to salvation...We are saved by faith which is a gift of God and some saved will show NO works.I often wonder about this, are works not a requirement of salvation? How we will be judged before God? Is it not by our works?

14If any mans work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. 15If any mans work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.
My answer would be that when we are standing before God and He judges us He isn't doing so to determine or salvation because our salvation is by faith alone (Hebrews 2:8,9), but rather He is judging our works in order that He might reward us. Our foundation (salvation) is Christ and that foundation is secure and eternal and bought with the blood of Christ. What is built on that foundation is what is judged (the works), and those works can be gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw (see 1 Corinthians 3:11-15).

JSOC judgment seat of Christ, the BEMA seat (believers)not to be confused with the White throne of judgment. (sheep's and goats)...I'm not too familiar with the term JSOC?
~~~~~~
Do you know what will happen to a person with faith, but no good works? Tell me if you know?
Faith and no works.
While embarrassed this judgment is NOT related to sin, it shows we will receive no reward save salvation itself...Which of course is huge in itself.
Paul continually writes in a sporstman like competitive nature that we need to be out running the race and things like that...Why because of the heavenly rewards.(crown of righteousness etc.) (He is speaking to the elect!)
