Cool. But then I'd need all new wardrobe andFor you of course I would!
We don't have to raise the bridge. We can lower the river.Cool. But then I'd need all new wardrobe and
they'd be clamouring me to be Ms Hong Kong,
and otherwise disturbing my tranquil.
It's enough to know you could, and you care.
Rivers that meander aren't "etched into the Earth" they are just patterns in soft mud, sand, or soil cause by slow flowing waters.
Catastrophic flood huh.
The chalk is cretaceous and when / how
it eroded is a different topic.
That's only evidence that you choose to
believe an old story is literally true, believec that
your God is a mass murderer, and, believevthat
you know more than any scientist on earth.
Or than millions of educated Christians who
Understand it can't be literal.
That's a lot of believin'
How about we make everyone else shorter?
Not recommended if we take this classic from the 70s into consideration. We don't have to raise the bridge. We can lower the river.
How about we make everyone else shorter?
You discovered my one weakness. I cant do alterations.Cool. But then I'd need all new wardrobe...
The question is what constitutes murder. A few minutes ago, I washed my hands. Did I murder millions of microorganisms? And yet I did not make these microorganisms. Here we are talking about a being who created not just all that we see, but spacetime itself. If He choses to end life that He created in the first place, can that be called murder? That's only evidence that you choose to

Well...yeah. The taking of a life unjustly is murder. I created my son, but I have no right to end his life just because of that. The question is what constitutes murder. Um...the Susquehanna River is older than the Appalachian mountains it flows through, which means it cut its path as the mountain range rose.Rivers that meander aren't "etched into the Earth" they are just patterns in soft mud, sand, or soil cause by slow flowing waters.
Anything can be rationalized. The question is what constitutes murder. A few minutes ago, I washed my hands. Did I murder millions of microorganisms? And yet I did not make these microorganisms. Let's just call the whole thing off then. You discovered my one weakness. I cant do
Read some geology, if you've any actualUm...the Susquehanna River is older than the Appalachian mountains it flows through, which means it cut its path as the mountain range rose.
If you mean the classic oxbow river, to this non-geologist some seem to erode bows in a pre-existing channel. Maybe channel cut previously by the river and filled with sediment? Don't know, just something that catches my eye on maps.
I beg to differ about bows not forming during floods. Floods are when cuts form in bows.
Geology is interesting, and I'm not convinced everything is settled. Not just things like the Carolina Bays, which no one seems quite sure how they formed. There are sand dunes in places in the Southeastern US which are attributed to wind blowing sand out of dry river and stream channels during a glaciation period. Except they seem to be an awful huge amount of sand. This non-geologist is aware that there is supposed to be a difference between riverine and marine sand. Yet in some cases the amount of sand seems much greater than the associated channel.
I'm not arguing that this formed during the Flood. Frankly I don't know how they came about. Just some things that have caught my attention over the years.
Read some geology, if you've any actual interest in what you are seeing.
Well, no, you need to create your own dirt first from which to form your son, to create him. You don't own your son by right of creation. Your son is just as much a creature of God as you are.Well...yeah. The taking of a life unjustly is murder. I created my son, but I have no right to end his life just because of that.
If you believe in the flood, then you have to accept that God drowned innocent children. That's murder.
So creating children knowing full well that He was going to drown them is fine by you?Well, no, you need to create your own dirt first from which to form your son, to create him. You don't own your son by right of creation. Your son is just as much a creature of God as you are.
For HIM to do as he wished with his own creation is definitely ok with me. And I deserve no better than they did. Does he owe them mercy? No! He owes nobody anything! So creating children knowing full well that He was going to drown them is fine by you?
