They actually based the black Nick Fury on Samuel L. Jackson. It's why they had to get him to play the part.

But honestly... I wish they would get someone different. I like Jackson, he's a really good actor, but I'm kind of sick of seeing him everywhere. But I understand that it would be a slap in the face if they didn't get him to do the part.

Pain can bring out the hidden genie from the subconscious mind. Stark's near death experience forced him to overcome human weakness through his invention. Military and religion do not seem to satisfy him to stop something that is capable of destroying innocent lives. The iron suit must be a molecular bond between diamond atoms and iron atoms, once fused no tool or laser can leave a mark on the surface. Reminds of that UFO in The Day The Earth Stood Still.

Excellent movie. Best comic book adaptation since Spiderman... absolutely loved it.

If anyone goes to see it be sure you syat until the credits roll... there is a bonus scene at the end!
