  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I thought this was a good series. In my opinion, it has quite a bit in common with the style of something like Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, or Rurouni Kenshin. Has anyone seen The Final Act? I saw it three years ago when they were still putting up new episodes of it, and I think more recently, there is an English dub too.

I never finished it all but there were periods of my life where I watched it often. It's a pretty funny and entertaining show.

Now, most of you will probably think I'm bazaar for saying this but ever since I found out about the nephilim of Genesis 6 and the pre-flood world of fallen angels/demons and demon/human hybrids, stories and shows like this gained a whole new light to them.

I find it fascinating that even though Japanese have virtually no ties with Christianity, they often depict demons or spirits in their shows. And all of these secular cultures have tales of demons and gods of the old world and some even about half demons. Of course, Inuyasha fantasizes and even glorifies much of it but it's still an interesting concept and makes me wonder what it was really like back then.

Okay, is anyone else REALLY disappointed with the ending? (Final Act is finally dubbed in English!) Anyway, I understand the reality of not being able to let go of Kikyo. The truth is, he truly loves her more than Kagome. He cares deeply for them both but Kikyo was and always will be "the one." Kagome however, settles for being number two and even though they aren't "together," she abandons everything she has ever known in her own realm to permanently live with the guy that chose her second?! Really?

Well she made out better then Inuyasha he endup with an emotional unstable woman who can send him flying into the ground with enough force to create a impact crater just by uttering two words which she also does on a semiregular basis. And I don't even want to think about the mess if Kagome ever utters sit boy on the night of a new moon.

I prefered Kikyo a lot over Kagome. Her appearance and personality. Kagome fitted more into the template of a shoujo heroine, Kikyo did not. Kikyo felt more like a real person to me, her own personality, opinions and not part of a "band of adventurers/heroes".
Sango was the coolest though (and the hottest). ^_^
