  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I got hooked on Inuyasha early this year. It's a really interesting storyline that tells me a lot of Japanese romanticism. Just all the sensitive relationships surrounding love and friendship keep me going back to see more. But of course there is no Christian basis for any of the stuff. This is because the story has a totally different premise. I also love the songs and beautiful artistic expression at the beginning and end of the episodes.

there is one thing i do enjoy about inuyasha, now that i think about it.

the ending themes. Most of them anyway. Really nothing to do with the show, but still, i'd sit through an episode (or do something else and wait til' its over) just to hear em.

Oh I love the main theme, like for the movies. But I'm a real DORK when it comes to things like that. *For example, sometimes when I listen to the pirates of the carribbean soundtrack, I want to cry, but happy tears though* Haha I guess it's hard to understand my relationship with music. Never the less, InuYasha does have great music. Anyone know about the soundtracks? Like how much they are and what they have on them?

You would have to look back to various belief-sytems found within the far east including Buddhism and Hinduism...as well as Japanese mysticism and mythology. For example in the first episode, Kikiyo was mentioned as a Shinto priestess just as Kagome was first recognized as her "reincarnation".
