  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Back when I had the Cartoon Network, it was on late at night for me too. I set up my VCR to the timer so I could record them and watch them at a later time.

Unfortunately I never saw the earlier stages of the anime, but after a while I got what the plot was all about. I think it is a good and entertaining anime, and I like how surly Inuyasha is toward Kagome when in fact he really loves her. Kind of reminds me of Ranma and Akane.

Only a thirteen year old... here's a hint, kid: don't be elitist. People like what they like. I personally enjoy Inu Yasha. You just know they're not anime fans when they cite Inu Yasha, Cowboy Bebop, and Dragonball Z as their "most loved" anime.

Actually my favorite anime are Inuyasha and Cowboy Bebop... I do watch other anime, but I like Inuyasha and Cowboy Bebop. Just because they are played on Cartoon Network doesn't mean that they aren't as good as any other anime.

Anyway, I love Inuyasha. Good plot, animation, and music.

Yeah, but compared to Rah Xephon, Serial Experiments: Lain, or GITS: Stand Alone Complex they're just not that good.

Well, not to be contradictory, but the thing about anime is taste. Not everyone has the same taste. I’ve been a “fan” for over 10 years, not that it makes me special or anything but my point is that I still like the newer anime such as Cowboy Bebop and Trigun. I would consider Trigun and Kenshin some of my top favorites yet I also would add Lain in there too along with Nausicaä. I don’t think having Trigun as the top would not make you a true “anime” fan just as being into anime for over 10 years makes me more a fan than a 14 year old who first watched anime from Cartoon Network.

I don’t think being an anime fan is such a fine line to cross, but that’s just my opinion. :)

inuyasha my favorite anime all time!!! got 136 of the episodes getting 137 and i have 2 of the 3 movies out there and i love all the characters each and everyone of them. and fyi testsuaiga not to be mean but u know that ur name is spelt incorrectly it suppose to be spelt tessaiga the tsu part is suppose to be lower case to mean that it is reapeating a consonant letter but since it usually written in kanji it is translated as tsu so yeah. and did i mention i love the show haha

Good show, this may sound weird, but part of the reason I like InuYasha is because of all the color tones, it's a show that's very easy on the eyes late at night. Cowboy Bebop is also very good. Am I an anime noob? Ya probably. :)
