  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

(( That was the anime that led me to subs; thus leading me into the REAL anime.. So.. Yeah, it will always hold a place in my heart. I stopped watching at episode 124 when Kikyou died.. It was dragging on too long.. Naraku should have died in the episodes of the 80's. I lost interest.. I liked those Shinkatai.. or.. whatever though.. o_o; ))

Did you guys watch the april fools episodes? I thought it was funny when they gave Kagome a pipe. LOL :)
That was the most awesome thing I've ever seen! During Witch Hunter Robin they were drawing sombreros on the crows. It was hilarious! They also gave all the people really weird mustaches.

?! Boy do I feel dumb. I only saw a bit of Witch Hunter Robin, and actually thought it was part of the show. I was watching for thirty seconds, thought it was something stupid or other, and changed channels (I'm not following Robin anyways). I don't remember seeing it on any other show, must not have caught another show that night or something. Boy I'm dumb! :D

I'll say this about Inuyasha, it has two noticeable problems (well, maybe more). It is starting to run long, it's got a ways before it's downright stale like the Simpsons, but they'll be playing with fire soon enough. It's also getting soap opera'ery, if you know what I mean. A main character hardly ever dies, virtually no good guys are seriously injured/killed (sure, their wounds are 'serious', serious enough to be gone the next time you see them or shortly thereafter). Some bad guys die, but usually just the ones you're introduced to in the very episode they die in. The shards, well, do they multiply or what? It seems to be very difficult indeed to collect them all! :D

I don't know, I think they should consider bringing it to an exciting close, as opposed to a slow fade, a la after the shards are found we follow along with Kagome and the quest for Shippos' lost family heirloom, the 'revealinator'. Which reveals another sacred item (it's broke too) and some killer whale teeth for upgrading Inuyashas' sword.

Don't get me wrong, I love the show, but it does need some focus.

You think Sesshomaru was influenced by Lord Nelson? I mean the Japanese are somewhat aware of the British, and British heroic figures, the British did build the Japanese navy once, before ww2. Lord Nelson... Lord Sesshomaru, Nelson is missing his right arm (I think), Sesshomaru is missing his left arm, both have the uncanny ability to remain calm in unnerving circumstances (Nelson strolled across his ship's deck casually/formally while under point blank fire, well, he did die that way, but all the same). Just a really bizarre thought for you all. :)

I like Inuyasha. I've only watched a couple episodes... but it's way better than the other anime stuff I see on TV. It's ACTUALLY FUNNY. While the other ones are usually pure cheese.

Escaflowne is pretty good too... haven't seen that in awhile.

I know you can order Japanese collection sets, even here in the States. Sorry to everyone else though, no English sets yet. I don't know about the very last episode or not, but the Japanese episode sets are still way ahead of the English & Japanese episodes you can buy, which are only sold three episodes a peice (no sets).
