Hi all, I just found this site and thought I should say hello. My name is Amy, I am a new Christain who is an old CHristian. Like that is clear right? 
I was raised Catholic, VERY active in the church until my teen years. Left the church for a while, made bad choices and became an atheist. Started believeing again several years ago but was living in sin still, not going to church, no communication with God unless I needed him. This year I found a new Church and have began my relationship with God. This is all very new to me. I never spoke to God before. I prayed often - canned prayers thoughs. I followed the "rules" of the church out of fear of hell. Now, I follow God's will because I love him, not fear him. 
I have so much to learn and unlearn it's overwhelming at times. Just about EVERYTHING I learned as a child is NOT what I read in the bible. This has been a confusing yet uplifting journey so far.
