Hi, I am a "white African" being born, educated, worked, married and lived in Zimbabwe but of English parents. I am a 66 yr old building construction consultant.
I was living here when we went through hyper inflation (I still have one hundred trillion Zimbabwean dollar notes for reminding me!) and God took us through the experience. HE is faithful. Neither my wife nor I worked for 8 months during that period yet the reigning, ruling monarch of the Universe met our needs. HE is an awesome God.
We are currently going through inflation again - about 400% per annum - not as bad as before. The government/Reserve Bank no longer print notes (too expensive and useless) so we use chip and pin cards and/or phone transfers. US dollars are partially legal.
