Hello,

My name is Monique Contero. I have two cats and I start college for the first time, next month. I want to start my own Christian magazine. I like eating pizza and brownies I have two cats and I've been a christian for three years. I like going dirtbike riding, writing, and singing. I am not no American Idol and my cat runs when I sing. lol I don't have that many close friends but I love people.

ok so i'm new to this site too... i'm 18 and going to be a freshman in college this year.. i'm excited... but scared too... i live in idaho for the moment but am moving this summer i think i'm going to major in elementary education but that may change... i do know that i want to work with children and that i wouldn't mind working with orphans

hey y'all I'm new in this forum and I think that it's absolutely great.
I'm 23 and I stay in Harare (Zimbabwe) I'm a sanctified, Holy-Ghost filled fire-baptized child of God and I've been walking with the Lord for almost 3 years now. I must say it hasn't been easy but it has proved to be fruitful.

Before I met the Lord, I was into a whole lot of crazy stuff; drug and alcohol abuse, sexual immorality, the list goes on. But when I met the Lord, He turned my world around. It's amazing what the Lord has done with a life that was hopeless and meaningless. I used to go through 15-20 second lapses of mental instability and then I would get back to my senses. These strange occurences would take place when I started thinking about and trying to understand the whole concept about eternity, where I would be 2000 years from now. Life was just like a black hole.

I just don't know how to thank God for showing me such amazing love. To all you children of God out there, I say to you no matter what you go through, no matter how violent the storm may be just hold on to His nail-scarred hand. God is faithful and soon enough you will see the light at the end of the tunnel. Surely nothing in this universe can seperate us from the love of God.

I'm pretty new to this forum also. My name is Julie, and I am a 24 year old chasing my dreams of becoming a police officer. I start my second year of college August 30 at a local tech college, and will graduate in May 2005. I own 3 horses, and my life and world revolves around them most of the time. Hope to relocate to the great state of Colorado after graduation, and enjoy the great outdoors there in my spare time.
I grew up in a conservative church, that was highly legalistic but didn't focus much on a real relationship with Jesus Christ. I left them in 2002, and am slowly but surely sorting out what God is really like. I now feel Him in my life, and know without a doubt He is directing me. This site is great! It has already helped me a lot!

I'm going into my 2nd year of college at University of Mass this fall, majoring in math and hoping to become a high school teacher. I'm from Pennsylvania in the US, attending a Catholic University majoring in... well... lets just say I'm very indecisive and I've jumped around ideas for my major and still I have landed nowhere... lol. Hi all, I'm john14v6. Let's see...I am an 18 year old college student. I have a pretty big course load, but the fellowship I have found keeps me sane. I am involved with one of the campus ministries and I'm in USAF ROTC... I usually spend free time with friends or jamming with friends. I love to sing and play my guitar or bass. I also love to play tennis and go hiking(though seeing as I live in Florida I don't get a chance to hike unless I'm on vacation). Praise God I was saved 'bout 3 years ago and God is still healing some of the deep emotional scars of my past. Anywho I should probably go study now.
