CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi, I was baptised yesterday. I am 19 years old and did not attend church until I met my fiancee who is Christian. After being to church with her for a few years I decided to be baptised. So I just wanted to say hi

Hey all... Im April, just turned 18 yey! Im a sophomore at uni, currently studying biology, but am planning to switch (at least for a little while) to psychology and English. I love music, animals, and any type of literature; I also love to write, poetry especially. And thats me in a nutshell.

hey, I am 25. I graduated from college about a year and 1/2 ago. I'm single, and work 2 part time jobs at the moment. I am waiting...trying to be patient but, sometimes it doesn't work. I am a meteorologist, things are going happen with my current job soon, and I really need some prayer. My job is going to end October 1st, my lease runs out before that, I just don't know what I am going to do.
I know...I'm supposed to wait, and trust God, and I'm doing that, but it is extremely difficult. I guess that's what faith is all about right?

Hi everyone! I just came in here and I want to introduce myself. My name is Bianca and I am 26 years old. I am from California but have been in the DFW(texas) area for the past 2 years. I am a new Christian(been saved for 7 months now) and I pretty much do not have a lot of friends in my age group to talk to that are Christian. So anyways I look forward to chatting with all of you!
