Hey what's up? My name is Zach, and I am 21. I live in the third largest city in Missouri when I am at school, for those people out there that were bachelor fans, I don't know the guys name, but he has a restaurant called Trolley's in my town; Springfield. When I am not at school, I am at home, which is just north of St. Louis. I attend newly renamed Missouri State University, formerly known as Southwest Missouri State University. I am a social work major and minoring in Spanish. I believe God is calling me to work with juvenile delinquents and at-risk youth to give them a role model, something I lacked growing up, and try to change their life around.

I found God at about the age of 14, through one of the most influential people I ever met, my physical science teacher my freshman year of high school. Since then my walk with the Lord has been fairly good, although I have had my ups and downs. I am in the denomination Disciples of Christ, which is what my dad was raised. I have one sister who is 25, and a brother-in-law. They have a 2 year old daughter and another child on the way, due in August.

This site is so big, I feel like I need a map! lol. But I stumbled my way over here, so I might as well introduce myself.

My name's Christy. I'm 20 years old and I live in South Carolina. I plan to start attending Coastal Carolina University again in the fall semester (I hope). I have a long story, but I'll try to make it short.

I became a Christian at 8, and stayed active in my faith and in church until I hit college (nothing like a little parental freedom to make you go haywire). While in college, I met David. He's a grad student at Teacher's College in New York, and I thought that was really, really cool. We started dating and became sexually active. We dated for a year; even planned to get married. But then while I was staying with his family in California, I got pregnant. All of a sudden things spiraled out of control. His family wanted me to have an abortion. Then they wanted me to give the baby up for adoption. But I knew that I was being called to keep her and raise her. I now have a 6 week old little girl, and she is the light of my life--there's nothing like a baby to completely change your perspective. Her father and I are trying to reconcile, but it's extremely difficult. He said some very mean, hateful things, and I'll admit that I did too. I stumbled across christianforums, and decided that I should check it out. The last time I felt like I had answers was when I prayed.

I told you all of that because I think it's important that everyone knows exactly where I'm coming from. It knocks out my fear of judgment, and hopefully my story may touch someone else.
