CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I can't understand life without Him.
Hello from Atlanta. My name is Lindsey, I'm 21 and I've been on and off of CF since 07. I really like this forum and I'm just now finding more time to get back on here. I'm a full-time student at Georgia State studying social work and I'm happy to meet you all her in the US and overseas.

I'm a 20-year old college student currently living in Wisconsin and taking a semester off of school before transferring next fall to spend a couple of years at a private university and focusing on intercultural studies (basically a missionary major). The Lord has given me a huge passion for world missions and I'm so excited just to get out of school so I can go and do ministry somewhere

Greetings. My name is Paul, and I call the great state of Pennsylvania home. I've been a Christian since I was five, and baptized at age 9. I have been to college and studied Mechanical Engineering (a bad idea), Theology (I loved those classes), and History. I have settled on obtaining a history degree, and eventually becoming a college professor. I currently am serving in the US Air Force, and am deployed to Iraq. I will return soon to my "Home Station" in Texas, God willing.

Hey everyone! I'm still trying to figure this thing out so hopefully it works.
My names Diana and God has moved my life like crazy in the last year. I am currently doing volunteer work (i dont really like the word missionary) in the Dominican Republic and I love it. Though sometimes I get overwhelmed because I am only 19 and I dont have a ton of people my age around me as a support system. When i am in the states I live either in Buffalo or Cleveland depending on if Im at school or not.
So I like rowing, crotch rockets (should have my baby ninja 250 waiting for me when I get home!!) working on cars, adrenaline, honda s2000s, reading and studying the bible, worshiping and hanging out.
I joined this forum to get pumped up on God because out here with all that is going on its sometimes hard for me to stay in the moment and all the worship around here is done in Spanish which I dont speak that well so it's hard for me to keep up!

My name is Max, Im almost 24 and Im from Moscow. I became a Christian two years ago after spending the childhood and youth at Jehovahs Witnesses as an active pioneer.
I work as a PR specialist at an international software company (its not MS though). Have an unfinished degree in journalism. I like my work much.
Usually I attend a local Lutheran church, but Im not a fan of that, because of the lack of a community there, only services and masses. So Im still in search of my church. Mean while I am pretty active in my Christian circle, sometimes I organize meetings or lead Bible studies.
In spare time I make photographs (this is my photo page: flickr dot com/photos/21998104@N04/) and watch a lot of movies.
Im a fan of theology books and apologetics. Pretty acquainted with Catholicism and Orthodoxy.

...about 5 years now. My spouse, Matt, is 25 and we have an almost 2 year old little boy together...he runs around our house like a banchee on steroids and loves everything that has wheels on it, including Thomas the Tank Engine!
I haven't been able to further my education past high school due to being a stay-at-home mom to my little one. But this May I will be going back to school (!) and taking some classes, just a few though! Hopefully, at some point in the near future, I will be excepted into the culinary program.
I've been saved for quite some time but have just recently re-dedicated my life to the Lord after joining a new (to me, anyway!) and wonderful church in my city called Calvary Chapel.
I love life...it's entirely too short to be anything but thankful and joyful! My little boy always keeps me going, keeps me happy, and keeps me looking up!

my name is faatimah, i have a daughter i will be 21 in august and she will be three days later and we are just a like..i live in virginia beach, i attend university of phoenix for health care administrations.. i Love the Lord, and I am just now starting to see how much I need him in my life. Just quit smoking, through the grace of the Lord have no cravings or urges and also gave up a lot of things and people in my life that I don't need. So I am hoping to learn a lot, and to gain strnegth in the Lord and knowledge.. I have been in and out of the church for a decade and now just now starting to see the importantce of Christ's life and mine as well. So now I am his Servant, ready to serve the Lord and God's people and ready to encourage anyone and everyone. thanks a bunch.

I'm not much for talking about myself. I was quite involved in the Christian Forum community about 6 years ago and then life took over. Wondered back over here the other night and managed to come up with my user name and password! I'm 26, have 2 children 6 & 3 and work full time as a 3rd grade teacher. My husband is 29 and we've been married for 7.5 years! I'm from New Mexico, USA, and interested a great deal in other cultures and places. It's my dream to travel abroad. I have family living in Finland and I am especially interested in making friends in the area.
