A little more recently - What were you doing when you first heard about Princess Diana being killed in the car accident?
I tried, but I don't remember:sorry: When I was about 24, I waited for 3 hours in the rain to get a chance to see her and Charles when they visited Victoria B.C.. It was really amazing to see them in public. Charles is a very slight man and Diana was very, very beautiful. Judging by the pics I have seen of her and seeing her in person, I don't think she was very photogenic.

Did you ever go through a hippie stage....or perhaps still in one;) ??

My parents were hippie-ish. As was the general public in the 60's. I was brought up to question authority. To be kind to the earth. To not blindly go along with what other people say or do. To think outside the box. To eat healthy. The attitudes of the 60's largely inflenced who I am.

What was you one most embarrasing moment?
Oh, my embarassing moments are many. I won't name the most embarassing, because it would be impossible to narrow it down to just one. But, I can tell you of my first. And it will undoubtedly embarrass you to read it. But, you asked. When I was potty training, (I was fully potty trained by the age of 9 months) I pooped in my potty chair. And because my mother used to applaud and act so proud of me for this grand accomplishment. I took the tray out, with my accomplish within it, and showed it to everyone that was at the house that day. My parents were having a party. I remember everyone wincing and making disgusted faces. And my mother laughing. It was the first time I ever felt embarrassed. And also the first time I stopped trusting my Mother to protect me. Happy you asked?

Do you ever feel completely alone?

What is one hope that you haven't realized yet?

It isn't a hope for me but for my kids - my children haven't graduated from college yet (my daughter is a sophomore, son quit school to become a dad).

Do you have a fear, that even if you know it is unreasonable, you can't get over?

What's your favorite time of year?

Fall - not too hot, not too cold, clear sunny skies, gorgeous trees, good times (nothing like a hay ride and trip to the pumpkin patch). Seriously - why do some people not see natural revelation??? But that's not my question, this is:

What's your favorite holiday memory?

What was your favorite vacation (a few details would be nice)?

I spent a week in Texas in July. I went to San Antonio and saw the Alamo and went on the River Walk. Went to Dallas and saw where JFK was shot. Went to Ft. Worth and saw the Livestock Exchange and saw the longhorns. Went to this awesome mall in Grapevine that has outlet stores. Texas is huge (of course anything is huge compared to Delaware ;) ). And the ultimate was....ta dah....Marble Slab Cremery :yum:

Have you ever been to a foreign country?

Canada - which I love (and no it isn't part of the US). We've been (at various times) to Stratford for Shakespeare, to Quebec City, The Bay of Fundy and Toronto. Looking forward to visiting British Columbia (Vancouver & Victoria) someday.

If you were on a desert island and could take one person - who would that person be?
