• CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
 • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Interesting personality test..

OK, well that second description was a little more accurate of me, though the whole "works tirelessly at thankless jobs" really isn't something I'm prone to very often. hehe. But this part is pretty close. Kinda explains why whenever we moved and changed schools when I was growing up (which was often), I always befriended the outcasts in the class:

The primary desire of the Protector is to be of service and to minister to others, but here "service" means not so much providing others with the necessities of life (the Provider's concern) as protecting others from life's pitfalls and injuries. There are probably lots of Protectors in the population, as many as ten percent. A good thing, because they are vigilant in their protecting, and seem fulfilled in the degree they can insure the safekeeping of those in their family, their circle of friends, or their place of business. They also derive a great deal of satisfaction from caring for others, and they offer their comfort gently and helpfully. They enjoy assisting the downtrodden and can handle disability and neediness in others better than any other type.

Protectors go about their task of caretaking quietly, unassumingly, and because of this their efforts are sometimes not fully appreciated. They are not as open and talkative as the Providers, except with close friends and relatives. With these, however, they can chat tirelessly, and for as long as it takes to cover in minute detail everything concrete in their lives. But their shyness with strangers is often misjudged as stiffness, even coldness, when in truth iSfJs are warm-hearted and sympathetic, giving happily of themselves to those in need-although, curiously, their interest may wane when the recipient is no longer in trouble. Aww :( Where's the Companion linky? Can't see it.

:)hug: for twinny! :p)
:hug::D

On your results page click on the link that says "type description by J. Butt and M.M. Heiss". Then scroll to the bottom of that page and it will show you a bunch of links to other personalities that would be a compliment, companion, pal, etc. for your personality type.

A whole bunch of us are I's - Introverted. We don't particularly like social situations so we seek social situations on the internet. Huh?

Who can figure this one out?

I know, shocking, huh? ^_^
I've always been more comfortable with expressing myself through writing than speaking. And even then, I'm still better at expressing myself visually (art) than in writing. Me no talk too good! lol.

I was INFJ last time I did this a year ago or so. Funny how we change

Whatever happens in a year, we should all come back here, re-take the test and see if we've changed group :p Like a reunion! I will bring chips and dips. We need a fella to offer to do the barbecue. Fellas seem to love a barbecue for some reason.

Ok, woah. You said it described your husband fairly well? It described the person am thinking of *exactly*. Down to job, even. Yikes!

This test be voodoo, man. It's voodoo.

Hmm. Yeah, our mood probably has an effect on how we respond... but lots of the questions are variations on a theme, so they probably use that to whittle it all down and condense it into that percentage bidnis. You should take it again tomorrow, just to see :p

:amen:
lol

(that should be a test question) heh
They do, though, don't they. Funny old things. Quite baffled as to why, actually

LOL, I know, scary, right?
Ah sheesh, I just realized I should have just copied the description over for you to read, so then you wouldn't have had to take the test again! :sorry:

It's because it involves fire. They have this strange fascination with fire. All of 'em.

I'm totally baffled by it, but it's true. My husband runs out there with the all the utensils & plates and cant' wait to fire it up out there....

We get stuck with all the 'fun' stuff in the house lol

Ha! That didn't even occur to me. Yeah... twinnies it is :p (But, seriously, scarily accurate. Either the human brain and our interactions with one another are banal and predictable, or the test is spooky.)

Like a caveman dealio, maybe...? Huh. But you'd think they would have evolv... Heh, you may just have single-handedly proved that evolution as we understand it is a farce :D

*following the rabbit trail*

I went to school with a kid named David Creech. All the guys called him "Crotch Creature".

Also went to school with a girl whose last name was Skaggs (our slang for what is now known as skanky) and Buster Cherry (no joke on that one, and it WAS NOT a nickname!).

I also knew a man named Richard Head. Guess you can figure out what he was called. :D
