I have studied many religions in my years, and i have an extensive background in psychology. I am not a "christian." I have come here to learn more and study christianity more in depth. More specifically I hope that this site will provide me insight into the psychology of a christian follower. I mean you no harm. I am just here to learn more information.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Welcome Mushaman.....That I fear is different for each person. There is no one psychology of a christian follower for it is an individual relationship with Jesus. If you wish to know more about Christianity then the best place to go would be to His Word and study our Lord Himself. We are very poor ambassdors for Him I am afraid, we are attempting to walk as He would have us walk but we all fall short of the Glory of God and some of us even know it. 
To understand this relationship, you would have to understand first the magnificent Son of God whom we follow because He first loved us, even when we were lost to our own ways, our own desires..... Each will have a different testimony of His goodness and His love. What you attempt to do is like saying you wish to weave a complete blanket with only one small piece of thread. You are welcome at CF. May your heart find the Truth and the Peace which passes all human understanding.
