Intercessory Prayers

I grew up in a church where we intercede regularly for others such as prisoners, the sick, and I think also the country and government leaders if I remember correctly. I miss those intercessory prayers every Sunday. I know about Intercessors for America. Does anyone know of any other intercessory groups or prayer lines that I can join?

If you do a internet web search using intercessory prayer groups, you may find something.

Or you could contact churches to see if they have any prayer groups you could join.

Sorry no, As D suggested use google to identify Christian charities, missons, churches etc in your area and check there web sites re prayer groups, many missionary organisations have local support/prayer groups as do some charities.

If you cannot find any groups, start one yourself.Eith email, twitter or facebook that you are starting a prayer group on line and see who responds.

Or post prayer items in the prayer forum.

I am reminded of ..and if you don't believe its ok but in this bible study I went to where she and her husband (Grandparents) led it. She prayed 4h a day. But the place we met was where a woman was bed ridden. One night after the study as we were going into her room.. I had this desire to pray.. no its all I wanted to do forever and never stop. Then as fast as it came it was gone. But something I haven't done for a long time (Forgive me Father).

I don't know of any but as one said.. start one "He looked for one from among them to build a wall to stand in the gap but found none". Here I am
