Unfortunately any suggested readings, not just by you, are the beliefs of a particular church. Seldom, if ever, have I been directed to reading that is other than just one churches/religions. Even the history of the church is slanted to the church in question. Even bibles from different churches are worded differently. I no longer have any set idea as to which bible to read, to believe so I don't bother much reading. To be quite honest, right now my religion is God because He is the only one who is always the same with me, exactly the same.
