Intense dream

Recently I have been having a lot of strange dreams, but there was one dream in particular that really concerned me. I had the dream a few days after I got home from a missions trip to Africa. In the dream I was on a missions trip with the missionaries who took my group to Africa. The location confused me because eceryone kept mentioningThailand. But in my dream I saw an outlineof a country and it said Nepal in the outline, but the outline was of the country Mongolia(I looked at a map when I woke up and it matched Mongolia exactly)In the dream we were with children maybe at a school or orphanage and it was on top of a hill or mountain. And I was holding a child the whole time. the next part we were at a tent church and the missionaries wife fell out in the Spirit and was half in the tent and half outside of it. There was a man right beside her who had also fallen out in the Spirit. Then a lady in a uniform came up to them and told them that that was enough and they needed to get up. The next part I was at a very nice church it was alsmot business like and was very clean. My father was in this part of the dream. I was in the sanctuary and told my dad I was leaving to go to the bathroom. When I walked down a hall and saw a man in uniform with a gas mask on and he had something in his hand and I am unsure what it was. I went straight back to the sanctuary, when I did I saw a bunch of military people inside of the sanctuary and everyone who was in the church(not military) had been given long wooden sticks. My dad motioned for me to come over to him so I did. They then made my father go in the front where there was a tv with a black man on the tv.The man on the tv asked him where he was from. My father then explained that he had come in from La Guardia airport in New York city. then they said his punishment would be to be whipped. and they hit him with the stick. then they made me go up next. The man on the tv asked me "what constitutes a free state?" I could not speak.Then I woke up.
Does anyone have any Idea what this could possibly mean? There are a lot of elements to this and I can't figure it out. If you have any idea please let me know. Also I have been having a lot of dreams similar to this and they have been happening more regularly.

I am not normally an alarmist, generally all seems well, however there seems to be a general thread with me lately that there may come a time of suffering. I just finished watching a video by a quite famous prophet (a few minutes ago) and he feels that war may be ahead, a world war, very soon. Maybe God is showing you what it will mean for you and your family, so you can be ready internally if it happens.

That all said, God has not shown me anything specifically about conflict or war (although it has been in the back of my mind). So I am not confirming or denying any of it as being God.

what comes to mind is- the Asian country in the first part of the dream is where there's childlike faith. The holy spirit can move there.
But in the second part, it seems like you back in america, and there's gasmasked people in the church, the holy spirit can't move freely there. Maybe they are being legalistic.

"what constitutes a free state?"

There's no such thing.

Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey--whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? - Romans 6:16

A free state, then is a state submitted to Christ who gives freedom, but that freedom comes through submission and the obedience of faith. And so he gives us freedom from bondage, but we are slaves to righteousness then.

Democracies do not achieve free states. We could have an autocracy operated by someone submitted to Jesus Christ vs. a ruthless, brutal democratic republic, and the virtuous state is not the democracy because "it sets people free". No, people are all in bondage until Christ sets them free, and the autocracy run by Christ is free and the democracy led by satan is in bondage.

A missions trip to Africa could affect you in a lot of non-obvious ways. Your dreams might just be you digesting your experiences. If it were this, that would explain why a lot was going on in the dream and it was confusing. Is there some quality about the dream that makes it seem to you like it wasn't "just a dream?"

Also I have been having a lot of dreams similar to this and they have been happening more regularly.

I think this is the more important issue you raised. If you are experiencing the effects of spiritual sensitivity, you need to talk about it with someone at your church who has had some sort of experience with the gifts of the Spirit.
