Muslims say, "death to all who insult the prophet!" We should not worry about it. To insult Mohammed is to insult a mere man, and a deceiver of men at that. On the other hand, the Lord Jesus says; "if ye believe not that I am He, ye shall die in your sins. " (John 8:24). In other words, death (and eternal death) to all who affront Jesus by denying His divinity, or that He was the Son of God and God the Son, or that He is the Christ, the Savior of men, who died on the cross for man’s sins and was raised from the dead for their justification (Romans 4:25; 1 Corinthians 15:3). This, the author of Hebrews refers to as doing despite to, or insulting, the Spirit of grace (Hebrews 10:29).
You can offer offence to Mohammed. You can affront Islam, the Quran, even Allah. If you do so you might lose your life in this world. Rest assured, however, that you will lose absolutely nothing in the next. But if you offer offence to Jesus Christ, as He is revealed in the Bible, and if you affront His grace by rejecting the way of repentance, faith and the cross, you will die in your sins, be cast out of His presence into eternal darkness and suffering, to experience God’s unrelenting wrath, forever.
