  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hearst Castle - Central Coast of California

5.jpg

A castle designed by the architect Julia Morgan, as a dwelling for William Randolph Hearst - a newspaper magnate, who passed away in 1951. In 1954, the castle became a California State Park, and was officially opened to visitors in 1958. Despite being located far away from any city in California, the estate still attracts millions of visitors every year. It is now a State Historical Monument that allows public tours of its amazing sites, and respectable collection of art and antiques.

Port House - Antwerp, Belgium

9.jpg

"The new Port House in Antwerp repurposes, renovates and extends a derelict fire station into a new headquarters for the port – bringing together the port’s 500 staff that previously worked in separate buildings around the city.

With 12 km of docks, Antwerp is Europe’s second largest shipping port, serving 15,000 sea trade ships and 60,000 inland barges each year."

lol, those are pretty cool. Although, it would be so confusing living in a house like that, especially when you see people walking on the ceiling. o_O

...spiders have really nice color schemes on their bods...I think it's inspiring???? And compared to other insects, they have a cute face upon closeup...I don't mind spiders, but I am just scared if they are venomous...

Salar de Uyuni - Bolivia

12.jpg

The largest salt flat in the world, located in southwest Bolivia. Due to the several prehistoric lakes being covered by a layer of salt crust, seasonal flooding (which smooths out the surfaces and makes it remarkably "flat"), and clear skies due to its location and elevation, the flats are known for casting mesmerizing reflections. It also serves as a major source of salt, and contains over half of the worlds lithium reserves in its brine (located below the salt crust).
