I just recently discovered I'm an INFJ. No wonder only my closest friends and family understand me.

Are you aware that it's a very sensitive emotional type. F = feeling. I thought you always described yourself as thinking/rational.

F types are capable of being rational and logical. One of the most intelligent people I know is an INFP.

Being an F is just how you would instinctively make decisions...With the heart. An F type may take a step back and consider the logical consequences and that will influence their end decisions, but the first desire or urge is to follow the heart and emotions. They often have to learn to think logically and consider what would be best logically.

As a T type, I'm the opposite. First urge is to do what would be most logical. I have to take a step back and make an effort to think about the feelings and emotions of those around me and how my decision would effect them. I had to learn to do that too.

Becky, I think it's best to look up the differences in Extroverted Feeling and Introverted feeling. INFPs are Introverted Feeling dominants, while INFJs are Introverted Intuition dominants with Extroverted feeling as their auxiliary.

I am skeptical of this. I often question the INFJs on this (Historia should know.) but you do not seem like a feeling type, or an intuitive type. But you know better than anyone. I can make a poll. It'd be fitting.

Yeah I know! But I answered those questions as honest as I could. And the result was INFJ. But I will say that most of the time, I don't let my "feelings" guide me.

I'd take a polygraph test to prove it. But when I answered the questions, INFJ was my result.

I just don't see it at all. I don't think he's like as "T" as Donna or myself, but definitely not an F... and even more so I don't see the N. When temperaments are concerned, he seems more "SP" than "NF"
