CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Posting in a thread that's been inactive for a really long time, i.e. a dead thread. An example is people browsing forum archives and responding to threads last posted in in like 2002.

haha...yea i kind of figured you meant something along those lines.
Its just that I looked up the thread to find some information about something.....then bumped it shamelessly because it brought a lot of the same stuff to my mind and I thought others who are newer here may have something to contribute..
call me a shameless bumper if you like but being such a rare personality type, really, what else would you expect?!

I can't even remember what I am. I had to take it as part of my psych profile when I started candidacy for ministry. I remember hanging out with some people when I first got to seminary and joking with a girl here I asked her what her sign was and she sat down next to me and said "No, no here we ask what's your Myers Briggs?" Whatever I scored the psychologist said it was probably a false positive. I was too close in most of the testing to be 100% for whatever it was.

lol...well I took this personality test on facebook which is brilliant by the way and I am now an INFP. The description was spot on!
I might have to start my own club now.
