CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm great at making people laugh. I'm not sure that is an INFJ character trait though. I am just freakin' hilarious!

I don't know if I would call him the greatest INFJ of all time. I know of some others that would be really good examples - some more contemporary than others...
I would say that many of the writing prophets were likely of the INFJ temperament... specifically Jeremiah, Isaiah, Ezekiel, and even Nathan. Of the disciples, I would think John would fit in the best with this temperament.
In movies/stories/TV shows, I think of John Coffee from The Green Mile, Felix Gaeta from Battlestar Galactica, MICHAEL SCOFIELD from Prison Break... I can't think of any others off the top of my head at the moment, though.

My fellow INFJ's, i have had the unique opportunity to see another INFJ going through his paces, and it is like looking in a mirror at times.
Do you identify with the following:
1) I went to a restuarant with an INFJ, and I crumpled up the straw wrapper into a small ball with no protrusions, only to notice that the other INFJ had done exactly the same.
2) Filling up silent space by pacing up and down with arms folded behind back.
I'll see if I can remember any others and post them later.

I can relate to the first one I normally push it around the table for a few minutes until I get bored with it then if I'm in the right company, fling it at somebody.
That might just be me, not typical INFJ behaviour though.

no, i answered all of them
i'm just a dichotomy i suppose.my mother is licensed to proctor the official test so i'll take the real thing from her. I've taken other versions of the Kiersey(sp) sorter about 6 times in the past 5 years and always come up something different depending on my mood and stage of life.
