Do you mean Zeno?
You are going to get a better grasp of infinity if you look at set theory, rather than philosophy.
Infinity seems to pop up everywhere. In mathematics, as formerly illustrated, and in dimensions, such as the difference between Planiverse and our three spacial dimensions (Planiverse is that reality where there are just two spacial dimensions: up & down, and left & right. That differs from our geometry, where we have up & down, left & right, and back & fourth, for a total of three spacial dimentions) If we were to try to create our three dimentions from sheets of Planivers's, we'd have to stack up an infinite amount of planes to create our three dimentions (like stacking up two-dimentional sheets of paper to obtain a three-D cube to throw in the copier).
Even G-d Himself is infinite.
Thus, infinity and its precepts may move in between either philosophy, mathematics, extra dimentions of space, or with G-d.
None of which denies my assertion.

Infinity is purely a concept of abstract mathematics and has no other usage ... It has nothing to do with nature.
Do you mean Zeno?
He's being emphatic.[FONT=Palatino Linotype, serif]"I myself flatly refused to believe Darwin's theory when I first heard about it as a child" - Richard Dawkins, The Blind Watchmaker

Only if our third z dimension is continuous. If it is discrete, then we only need a finite number of planes to make a finite volume.Infinity seems to pop up everywhere. In what regard? He is infinitely long?Even G-d Himself is infinite.
I disagree. Infinity is a mathematical conceptThus, infinity and its precepts may move in between either philosophy, mathematics, extra dimentions of space, or with G-d.
Subtraction is not defined for infinityok if you have infinity and you subtract infinity what do you get?
Yeah Dawkins, shame on you for using English. You bad, bad man![FONT=Palatino Linotype, serif]"I myself flatly refused to believe Darwin's theory when I first heard about it as a child" - Richard Dawkins, The Blind Watchmaker

LOL.
If something* has a beginning but no end, is it infinite? NO
If something has an end but no beginning, is it likewise infinite? NO
Further, suppose something has no beginning and no end? Is it infinite? YES
Not quite. The OP was unfortunately rather ambiguous, but "infinity" can mean several different things, e.g.
- Infinite length in a spatial or time dimension (as someone has said, this may be infinite in one direction or both)
- Is the universe spatially infinite? Seemingly, no.
- Is the universe temporally infinite? It has a starting point, but "yes" if it lasts forever.
- Infinite in cardinality
- Does a finite lump of matter contain infinitely many "pieces"? No, because matter comes in particles.
- Does the universe contain infinitely many particles? Not if it's spatially finite.
- Does a finite time interval contain infinitely many "instants"? See here. Roll on, Zeno.
- Theological uses, generally shorthand for more precisely defined concepts like eternal, omnipresent, perfectly good, etc.
you can't. if you could then it wouldn't be infinite.
