Also, if that is true, isn't there a General CF rule against that? We have such a rule against that over at Maritime SDA OnLine.

There is no rule against having more than one username here, except under certain circumstances.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ.

If there is need to regulate what we do within this forum we already have the rules pretty well spelled out. Let me think........Oh yes, they can be found in Ex. 20:3-17. I really belive that these principals will give us any answer needed for a smooth running forum.

Respectfully, your brother in Christ,
Doc

Just to be sure of what you are saying. Do you stand by the above statement if we use the 10 commandments as the book of Deuteronomy records as being the words written on tables of stone.

Deut 5:1-22 Moses summoned all Israel and said: Hear, O Israel, the decrees and laws I declare in your hearing today. Learn them and be sure to follow them.
2 The LORD our God made a covenant with us at Horeb.
3 It was not with our fathers that the LORD made this covenant, but with us, with all of us who are alive here today.
4 The LORD spoke to you face to face out of the fire on the mountain.
5 (At that time I stood between the LORD and you to declare to you the word of the LORD, because you were afraid of the fire and did not go up the mountain.) And he said:
6 "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
7 "You shall have no other gods before me.
8 "You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.
9 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,
10 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
11 "You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.
12 "Observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, as the LORD your God has commanded you.
13 Six days you shall labor and do all your work,
14 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your ox, your donkey or any of your animals, nor the alien within your gates, so that your manservant and maidservant may rest, as you do.
15 Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the LORD your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the LORD your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day.
16 "Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the LORD your God is giving you.
17 "You shall not murder.
18 "You shall not commit adultery.
19 "You shall not steal.
20 "You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.
21 "You shall not covet your neighbor's wife. You shall not set your desire on your neighbor's house or land, his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor."
22 These are the commandments the LORD proclaimed in a loud voice to your whole assembly there on the mountain from out of the fire, the cloud and the deep darkness; and he added nothing more. Then he wrote them on two stone tablets and gave them to me.

Since you are on this. It was recently brought to my attention that the only passage that the Bible explicitly calls the Ten Commandments is found in Ex. 34 and it seems to bear little resemblance to the two you have referred to.

Not the only place:
(Deut 4:13 NIV) He declared to you his covenant, the Ten Commandments, which he commanded you to follow and then wrote them on two stone tablets.

Just to clarify, I was not saying the devil is repsonsible for the bad behavior on this forum - I was saying that he is happy to see discord among bro and sis in Christ. Do you disagree with that?

Annie

Since I was the one to say that we like to blame him for what we do I suppose this is addressed to me.......

Quite frankly, I much rather not even give any credance to him..... He is a DEFEATED FOE......... ONLY the ones that do not know what the means keep given him powers he does not deserve not needs.....

Now, as for agreeing to what he does or does not like........ I really careth not..

I much rather focus on the real deal not on the counterfiet... Having worked at a bank and learned that the way to snif out a counterfit IS by knowing the real deal I do not find any use in being concerned with what the "devil" is or is not doing...

I have enough on my plate JUST focusing on serving The Creator to the fullest of my abilities and teaching my children to do the same....

Would YOU agree that IS what we REALLY aught to be concerned about? Allowing HIM to use US for HIS purpose? To tell others about the rescue mission HE launced for ALL?....... yes/no?

Why do we do this? I am quite aware of that other passage and it does not contain the text of what is called the Ten Commandments. It only makes reference to it. We need to do much more than just demonstrate we have additional knowledge.

Why do we do what? The passage in Deut 4 is the introduction to the 10 commandments which are recorded in Chapter 5. There was of course no chapter divisions in the original so there is no problem understanding that those listed in chapter 5 are the 10 commandments introduced in Deut 4.

But your comment makes me think that you are Darius aka statrei from both this forum and Atomorrow. Am I right?

This is a little ironic, isn't it? When Woob accused him of being someone we all know, everyone went nuts.
For purposes of argument, let us assume that sentipente is statrei/payattention (Tall73) or sentipente is Darius/statrei (RC). Are you suggesting that would give Woob the right to claim that sentipente is NightEternal?

Was that a yes?
It is logic and reason that rule in a discussion forum. The inquisitions have no attraction for me. I will defend your right to engage in them but don't expect me to play that variety of games.

There is quite a difference as I did not accuse him of anything. Do you have a problem with me asking him the question?

My experience with Darius is that he really does not follow a conversation well and has very erratic views. His comment made me think that it was Darius and I asked him. Not an accusation not anything I would even have to apologize for if it is not Darius.

No, actually I don't have a problem with the question at all.

When I came back to this forum I suspected that you might be statrei too. :)

However, after reading a few more of your posts I recognized a different style, even though the arrogance is pretty similar (no offense).

I'm not saying this guy is statrei, but one of his trademarks is to avoid answering a question directly and then rebuking someone when they do the same thing.

That and sending nasty PMs.

Did you just accuse me of sending you nasty PMs? I challenge you to send a copy of these nasty PMs to everyone on this forum. You seem to be seeking attention. You won't be getting it from me. Just not my cup of tea.

I accused Statrei of sending nasty PMs. Unless that's you, no, I didn't accuse you of anything.

Excuse me for knowing the English language but when someone writes, "I'm not saying this guy is statrei, but one of his trademarks is . . ." the obvious antecedent of "his" is "this guy." And "this guy" in this conversation happens to be me.
