Not one of us left have had a child and we have all tried. The girls left Me and my sister both have almost died and we had one girl cousin that died. My sister had brain cancer and Survived but cannot at all have a child, I almost died at birth then 2 years ago While getting my gallbladder removed my lungs collapsed for no apparent reason and i flat lined. Im happily engaged to a man i met 6 years ago and weve been trying to concieve a child the last 2 years since my father is sick and has had 3 major strokes and his mother has hep c and is very sick both wanting a grandchild. I read about infertility curses can be a bloodline thing and are in the bible. Is there anything i can do? Has anyone heard anything about this kinda thing?

Dear LifexIsxBeautiful;

If Jesus is your Lord and Savior, you have been redeemed from the curse of the law (Galatians 3:13-14). You might want to study the entire third chapter of Galatians. Among other things, Jesus took barrenness into his body – He became barren to pay the price of sin so that we could be fruitful. Blessed shall be the fruit of your body… (Deuteronomy 28:4a).

Various curses are recorded in the Bible, but now they only apply to you if you believe them. Spend some time developing your relationship with Jesus; both in prayer and in studying the Word (Romans 10:17). Believe in and receive all that He purchased for you in His finished work of the cross. Believe in and receive His grace and His free gift of Righteousness (Romans 5:17). Really develop an inner image of you with children. Trust in the Lord.

Galatians 3:13-14
13. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),
14. that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Deuteronomy 28:4 “Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.
Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 5:17 For if by the one man’s (Adam’s) offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)

“May the Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)

No, its called we live in a fallen world. Its that simple. God many times will use our valley moments for his glory. I'm fighting this disease for life and God has used it for his glory. How? One example is that this nurse keeps calling me a trooper. I told her its my faith. God is in control anyway, I'm not.

You have two roads you can go by, life or death. The real road is in your heart, you have light to believe, or you can believe the darkness. The darkness is always there to tempt you. It comes in many forms and can be hard to see for what it is. It is impossible for those without Light.

Curses are that sort of darkness. You can believe you are infertile without hope, and there is a very good chance you will be. You can believe in a curse and very well make it so.

It was a big deal for people to believe Jesus could heal them from their ailments. He made a point to say, "Your faith healed you". One woman just touched his cloak in a busy road and she was healed. The disciples said, "But, Lord, many are touching you". He knew someone touched him with faith and said he "could feel power coming from him".

Jesus is always right there, in Heaven, as close as your heart. You have to believe Jesus can heal you. You have to believe in the power of Jesus and healing and light over the power of the Devil and darkness and curses -- and all wicked things.

Some will swear up and down "it is impossible". You can believe them. Or not. On any manner of thing.

If what they are saying is it is good which is impossible, and only bad which is possible -- then your choice is between light and darkness, God and the Devil, salvation and destruction.

You have been through some traumatic things lately.

Consider that it might have been God's grace to delay the timing of children -- imagine how hard it would have been to go through these things if you'd had 24/7 responsibility for toddlers.

I understand what you're saying about curses, but if you believe that curses are possible, then it would only be logical that God would want us to declare our freedom from them. He does not want us bound, and He has already provided the way of release.

It is a strange topic, because many religions of the world speak of curses, and some even practice giving them. But the more important focus is the action toward freedom.

The average US life expectancy in 1900, was 47. Life is full of ailments; we are fortunate to have the expectancy that we do.

See this is where I have a problem with literal reading of the bible. Jewish custom basically said if anything bad happens to you then it must be God punishing you. That is not the always the case. Sometimes like with Job God allowed testing. Sometimes it was something that just wasn't understood but we today have a medical term for it.

So my first question would be what have fertility specialists and family planning people had to say about this?

I want to bring up the scientific view from both sides of science. The easy way out of any quick debate is saying its hereditary. On the other side of the fence there are scientists who are proving its nothing to do with a blood line, but what the person does to their bodies that can cause sterilization. They have pointed out through extensive cases that lead and other hard metals in the water and food can cause infertility in both women and men. That chemicals in the foods we eat put in there by the food companies also cause harm to the body and reproductive organs. That a decrease in certain vitamins can also cause this as well. That the body needs to be both cleansed from hard metals and toxins and needs proper nutrients in order for the body to heal itself and properly function. Even certain medications can cause infertility.

I would look at what you are eating, what medications you are taking and ask a doctor about those things and also research them yourself so you can have more questions to ask your doctor. A simple change in diet, a simple change in your habits (drinking can cause birth defects and reproductive organ problems if one drinks certain alcohols and or too much) and just little things like that can help your body recover (your husbands too) and help you become fertile again. Even fluoride in the water affects certain people since it is a poison. After all we are what we put into our bodies and everything that goes into us that is not food or clean water just hurts our bodies.

To add, if the doctor says anything that these may be related to your infertility, understand also it takes a while for the body to fully heal and if you try to have children before your body has healed itself you may end up with a child with birth defects. So heal first, get answers from Doctors and also a Nutritionist (see both) and I would even see more than one Doctor to get various opinions on the cause and cure. I wouldn't go too far and have surgery or implants done, but try the safest route first.

To note: on some labels of certain products you buy it says on the label, this product has been known to cause reproductive harm, birth defects and or cancers. Not only on tobacco or alcohol, but on other products as well that you may use daily. Look at those labels of everything you use, including makeup.

God Bless.

Like the others have said have you had medical testing for infertility? Personally I would be making sure by seeing medical professionals I had nothing physically wrong with me at all before I started speculating there may be a spiritual curse on me and my family. Extreme stress by not knowing what may be wrong wouldn't be helping you at all.

Some people just have a poor family medical history. e.g. mine has a history of cancer, depression and lung conditions (which are all treatable today by advances in medicine). Because of mankind's sinful fallen nature we all have to die one day.

There are spiritual inheritances and experiences that predispose us towards negative outcomes. Prayer with some others and standing in your confidence in Christ will keep you safe afterwards.

But you should explore all avenues, get a sound medical examination, and goon from there.

If I'm reading that correctly, you all are having sex outside of marriage which is sin. And that's why you all can't have a baby yet.

What has to happen is that both of you need to repent and turn away from pre-marital sex and confess your sins to God and stop living together if you are, because that encourages pre-marital sex.
Then get married and later down the road, God will bless you all with a beautiful baby.

Where in the Bible did you read about them? And why would your family be cursed? God is big enough to break curses he didn't put there, and compassionate enough to lift curses that he did put there when people repent. Either way, IF there's a spiritual element, it's just a sincere prayer away from being addressed.

There would be a lot of very happy unmarried but pregnant teenagers if that were true. Fertility was the last thing on their mind at the time.
