infection worry

I have been really bloated, constipated lately and just not feeling well. Well yesterday I started having problems with frequent urination. Almost every 10 min i needed to go pee. I went to the doc and did a urine analysis. He found a trace of protein in my urine. I went to another doc later in the day, because I started to google all the results of protein in your urine. The second doc said there was protein and was probably a prostate infection. He gave me the anti-biotics. I am just worried its some kind of kidney damage or failure. My protein wasnt high, but enough for him to order a ultrasound. I hate the waiting.

The symtoms are frequent urination, constipated (which might be the painkillers i take), tired, dizzy, urination usually isnt painful. Its bubbly.

I just need some reasurrance

Painkillers, opiates in particular can make you constipated, dizzy and some other things. Your profile does not list your age, but as men age the prostate enlarges constricting the ureters making for more frequent urination. That does not explain the elevated protein or bloating which is probably a byproduct of your constipation, trapped gas as well.

I wouldn't worry, worrying won't add a day to your life.

On a lighter note, men, as they age stop growing, except for their ears and their nose. So, if you live long enough, you will look like a cross between a South American Fruit Bat and a Baboon. You don't actually lose your hair, it just gets lost and begins growing out of your ears, off the end of your nose and at the base of your spine like Austin Powers. this is known as a "Butt Tuft" and is considered a sign of manhood and fertility by many primitive cultures, Enjoy life, do not worry.
