Why would you be searching for such a thing?Im still searching for a bible verse that says
- a parent's will to forcibly baptise their infant saves the infant
Meaning another person's will can save a person
But the issue is that people in this thread believe baptism itselve is salvation for the person even though the bible states salvation comes by heart and mouth unto Jesus.Natsumi, YES ONLY JESUS CHRIST GIVES SALVATION! but there are steps that we must adhere to and Baptism is the first step in salvation.
Even Jesus was baptized, so follow His first step regarding salvation that only Jesus Christ can give. FYI Jesus Christ did not preach prior to Him being Baptized only after being baptized. Amen

Because people in this thread try to justify that baptism is salvation. I need beblical proof that one's will ie parent can choose salvation for another ie infant. Why would you be searching for such a thing?
I have seen multiple people in this thread say ...baptism means your saved..... rather put the infant is saved because of being baptised. Please read through the posts. No, they dont.

Not quite sure what you're on about there Jacksy. So, I could go around and save all the humans as they are born... without them consenting to it?
Baptism saves #58No, they dont.
Yes, people here are suggesting that you can save a baby by sprinkling it with water..
Others suggest that you can save others.
Yes... a baby that has been baptized may grow up and totally reject Christ.
I've encountered this line of thought before, but it only makes sense if the speaker/questioner thinks that being baptized is a free pass to heaven...which no church teaches. So, I could go around and save all the humans as they are born... without them consenting to it?
So again it is the parents will that forces salvation on the child if baptism of the infant saves. It is not just sprinkling it with water that saves. Water is water. Sprinkling with water will just make someone wet. What saves is God's Word mingled with the water. It is God's Word that is powerful to save.

Does baptism save?
Do you know all churches.I've encountered this line of thought before, but it only makes sense if the speaker/questioner thinks that being baptized is a free pass to heaven...which no church teaches.
#213No, they dont.
Baptism saves #58
Baptism saves but baptism does not force anyone to remain a Christian and experience teaches that many who are baptised may turn away from Christianity and embrace atheism, agnosticism, some other religion or some variety of Christianity that is widely considered aberrant.
There is not enough there to know what the poster means.Yes, baptism saves.
Name one for us that teaches that if you are baptized as a child you can do anything and believe anything thereafter and you will be saved for certain, solely because you once received the sacrament of Baptism. No, I cannot think of one either.Do you know all churches.
He is already claiming the baby is a christian through baptism and flat out says baptism saves . Christian is a Christ follower. Can an infant follow Christ?Heres the statement:
He is saying that baptism isn't any guarantee of salvation. There is no other way to interpret the words in red.
There is not enough there to know what the poster means.
Do you know all denom and sects? Just because you cant think of one doesnt mean it doesnt exist. There is nothing new under the sun in these cases.Name one for us that teaches that if you are baptized as a child you can do anything and believe anything thereafter and you will be saved for certain, solely because you once received the sacrament of Baptism. No, I cannot think of one either.
