Babies are children, so stop evading the answer.Friend it was never a question about children , but rather about infant baptism.
I personally know children who have accepted Christ as Saviour and been baptized.
However, I have never known a baby to repent of sin (s) and get baptized Scripturally .
Number one the post you quoted of mine was obviously directed at another poster.Babies are children, so stop evading the answer.
"Children" means offspring in the Bible, or are you saying that they aren't part of the New Covenant?Number one the post you quoted of mine was obviously directed at another poster.
Number two, I haven't been invading anything in this thread.
Number three, refrain from ever telling me what to do being it isn't your place.
Number four, I can out right state that you and other snarky posters are evading the simple scriptural truths that I have presented.
Number five, babies are called babies because they are babies.
Toddlers are called toddlers because they are toddlers.
Children are called children because they are children.
Teenagers are called teenagers because they are teenagers.
Young adults are called young adults because they are young adults.
Adults are called adults because they are adults.
Show me one infant in Scripture that repented of his or her sins then got baptized.
Also, you get mad I tell you, you are "evading" and you accuse me of that too.Number one the post you quoted of mine was obviously directed at another poster.

Stop deflecting and asking questions that have nothing to do with the thread."Children" means offspring in the Bible, or are you saying that they aren't part of the New Covenant?
Quite presumptuous aren't we?Also, you get mad I tell you, you are "evading" and you accuse me of that too.
Actually it isn't the basis for infant baptism whatsoever.Wow I am surprised that you got this far and barley touch Col 2:11 This I think is the basis of infant baptism. It is the extension of the N.T. fulfilling the O.T. It stands to reason that if Christ is your circumcision and that applies to children then baptism also applies to children. I don't think you are going to get more then that.
Me?! Games?! And you called me presumptuous.Quite presumptuous aren't we?
I'm not mad at all.
At the same time I will not play your games that you try to play in almost every thread you post in.
Apparently it is because you seem confused.circumcision is for Infants, ok, you don't need to circumcise anymore because Christ has become that for you, if you are in Christ. So when did we circumcise children on the 8th day so we now baptize the child instead. In it not so hard to figure out.
Yes . This post proves it.Me?! Games?! And you called me presumptuous.
who says a baby has a choice?Apparently it is because you seem confused.
How can a baby choose to be in Christ?
How can a baby repent of sins?
Exactly.who says a baby has a choice?
Please elaborate on your assessment.you seem to be using circular reasoning
baptism is not about having a choice or repentence. in may or may not. include that but it is not about that. It is a legal transaction. That take you from one state and places you into another state.Exactly.
Thank you.
Friend, it most certainly is about a choice.baptism is not about having a choice or repentence. in may or may not. include that but it is not about that. It is a legal transaction. That take you from one state and places you into another state.
