  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

None of these things are needed for salvation, my friend.

Have a blessed day. I'm so thankful my salvation doesn't depend on something I'm supposed to feel.
You do not have to repent?
You do not have to confess?
You do not have to accept God's charity?

Those are natural parts of faith, my friend.

I cannot, though, by my own thinking or choosing, "accept" God's charity. On my own, I am a condemned creature. But with Jesus, I am saved. My salvation isn't based on ANYTHING that I personally do. Saying "if you don't repent you won't be saved" makes my salvation dependent on my own actions. That's a bit Catholic. Thing is, what if I am in a car accident right after I committed a sin, and I do not get the opportunity to repent? Am I condemned to hell for that? Of course not.

But we are far, far off the topic of baptism here.

All those things flow from faith. A faith given to us by the mercy and grace of God as a gift.
